Tears
My heart feels sad and lonely
but it has no eyes to cry
and it doesn’t have a mouth
so it can’t let out a sigh.
So without the eyes to free them,
the tears well up inside
and without a mouth to speak them,
its feelings it must hide.
It doesn’t have a nose or ears,
or fingers so it can touch.
So if it has none of the senses,
Why does it hurt so much ?
