In Bloom

"You've raped the lace between
my thighs, now tears of joy fall
from my eyes."

In bloom like an Orchid
beneath heavens ash.

A moment so memorable
it was never meant to last.

Distilled blue petals weep
from my cheeks, the dark
circle linings of little to no
sleep.

Glassy eyed dreamers bathing
in linen, crystal cracking Nightingales
have become of the women.

In bloom like a rose bud quivering in
the rain, now I've had a little taste I'll
never look back again.
