‘Whys’ are the cruelest and most deviant of all muses. They circle; mocking attacks you so wish they would carry out. So your confusion becomes their own ‘whys’ blurted upon the page in stain of words that do nothing to relieve the pressure they cause with their presence.
The rawness of your questioning is hauntingly beautiful. One day, hopefully, those muses can be put to rest.
