Eternal parting words, emblazoned upon her soul
He opened up his gates of hell so he could watch her suffer
Can you hear her pain, or have you moved on to another?

He tortured her soul, pierced it with a broken arrow
Left her to rot, entombed in her sorrow
Encased her in darkness and left her to die
Can you hear the sound of her pained anguished cries?

He crushed all she stood for, and ripped out her heart
Her obsession demented, poisoned in part
By the madness of dreaming, begging for light
Can you hear her screaming in the dead of the night?

She would have walked to the ends of the earth for him
But their animal attraction had them living in sin
A depression forever imprinted on her sad fractured mind
Can you hear her agony, now she’s caged and confined?

Twin souls drawn together, time & time again
Life now has no meaning, she’s pleading, condemned
To live a life that’s empty, and so out of tune
Can you hear her when she’s singing the song of the doomed?
