I Am Pain!

I am pain!
Unwanted like a fecal stain
Disappointed & dismayed
Was sane, until my crazy came
I wither in the cold embrace
Of fear
Therefore I am afraid
I veer, although the road is straight
Into a place of utter hate & anguish
Where hope can not escape
I'm dangerous
My faith's been laid to waste
I languish
In a pit of pure decay
For ages, I've been doomed to repeat this angst
The horror caused my fall from grace
The sorrow in my heart is great
I'm late!
My time can't be replaced
If it could, I'd wait... But I would still get chased
I'd still be bait for the worst kind of fate
On the hook
For yesterday's past tense blame
I'm hurt!
I'm maimed!
I'm shook like earthquakes
But, it's not my fault
Lines of lost minds sway & fall
Like gravity called
Shocked & awed, I'm unimpressed
I'm flawed!
Enthralled in my own mess
Test biases that I protest
"Unfair!", I declare
It's obvious
The hurt I feel is ominous
Despair has derailed my consciousness
I swear...
I am pain!
