POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Hollypeno
Hollypeon juice stings my tongue
Making me feel 20 years young
She's the spice of my life that leaves me sprung like June 21st
Heats me up then quenches my thirst
When I go or when I cum; don't know which is worst
Cuz it's the end of the ride like the inside of a hurst
Now the clock starts again
And time resumes
Until your next touch on my skin
Burning me with your fumes
In a room that becomes a world all ours
Passionate greed for your need leave me overpowered
Because you're so green
With envy it seems
Whenever youfeel...

Dearly Discarded
Dearly discarded
Don't know the month that we parted from the year we met
Never had faith in a future, but just some hope that you'd let
Me see just how wet or far I can get this time
Or how far I can make you go for me
Never caught a movie line or went to buy groceries
Or felt a certain way whenever you were close to me
But I remember how your toes would be pressed against my chest
Giving you my best. Late nights. No rest.
You'd say we have something that would stand the test of time.
I'd keep getting dressed and check the calls I've declined...

This Thing
I got this thing
Though I pretend it's not a thing
To no avail
It's like trying to stop a dream
I dance to you
With feet stuck to the floor
This is my chance to prove
That I'm your best move for sure
Life would never be a bore
I'd never feel like a chore
You'd have to complete before life can be sweet
Your friends roll their eyes at you
They say your individuality will only keep you single
But I'm magnetized to you
Can you see my soul staring out the window
As you seem to float by vibrating high without sound
If it were up to me...
Though I pretend it's not a thing
To no avail
It's like trying to stop a dream
I dance to you

Listen son, listen deep
Listen son, Listen deep
The price of young fun isn't cheap
And though I pray the Lord your soul he'll keep
For the company you keep, you stay ready to leap
Into a heap of hell
Just to cheat yourself
Out of blessings you could have
In exchange for a laugh
Or any form of flattery
To recharge your battery
Like the energizer bunny you keep going and going
You've become a hazard to yourself without even knowing
Immaturity showing with no signs of you growing
Stuck in the school halls strolling while the wind of change is blowing
And while...

Heart's first capture
Storybooks, regardless of genre, always held a mystical power over my imagination with their twists, turns and mostly unpredictable endings. I would sometimes read the short descriptive storylines on the back cover and take the story into another direction within the dimensions of my own mind. It was easy to say that our class’ weekly trip to the small, jammed-packed library was second best to recess, well to a bookworm at least.
My love for detective mysteries and “true” stories of haunted houses and locations may have been the starting point of my giddiness and restlessness in the...

Sentence of a cheat
Look at what you've done
The ending has now begun
The web of deceit that you've spun
Has you captured in a moment from which you wish you could run
Every tear seems to sizzle off her chin
Each glance your way slices your skin
What started as the perfect sin all planned out
Got you on needles and pins wondering how it will pan out
Your every word carries the pitch of guilt
Strong reasons to tilt fall loose like silk
Now loss is the math
Not far off is the wrath
Watching her cry makes you question if she'll ever again laugh
Time stands frozen...

champagne pale
When hello turns to oh hell
And oh hey turns to oh well
And all the ice is melted in the champagne pale
Will you bail or let love prevail?
When her girlish giggle becomes a grunt
And dead confessions come back to haunt
From answering on the first ring to waiting until the last one
Before the voice mail clicks on
Love's not here to answer your call because its gone
But if you could leave a message at the sound of the beep
Would it be so wrong to say so long for a week?
Feeling like something new
Something borrowed something who
Could...

Man that ain't dope that's a rope
(How LONG?)
Gone... pick it up and hang yourself with it
If the angel of death ain't committed
To snatching ignant figments of another man's imagination
We used to play: tag and racin'
Now I walk past don't face him cuz he doin bad and basin
What made us so damn impatient With each other?
We was sister and brother
ready to face the nation
If it ain't this its the other No Reason needed really
Though he really needed to Know Reason
Before he started squeezin
You Know...that life just ended....
