My Grant
I was only 16 when I met my mate for life...
He was slightly older but so loving and so nice...
Yes you were my soulmate and I no this to be true...
You were the man who I adored, and now I am so blue...
My life has never been the same, another I wont find...
The vision of your tender look, lodged deep in my mind...
You treated me with so much love, respect and human kind...
Never since the day you died, have I been able to find...
A more respectful loving soul, than you from deep inside...
We only had a short few years before, God took...

Dad
Oh Dad how I wish you were, here to give me strength...
I would sit and talk with you, in such a timeless length...
I just cant believe its been, so long since you've been gone...
It only feels like yesterday we'd sit and sing out songs...
But I was just a child when, God took you from our lives...
My heart was cut right open by a million different knives...
Our lives went on and functioned as it does, but not the same...
No more laughter, no more you, with all our fun and games...
Sometimes I still sit and hope you'd walk right through that door...

Mum
Hey Ma, please remember me, I hope you don't forget...
Through all my years of growing up, your still the best Mum yet...
But years are ticking by so fast, Your memory not the same...
I just don't want you ever to forget when we played games...
I look at you smile and say "hey Ma hows your day"?...
You look at me and so confused, the look of pure dismay...
I say "Hey Ma its me", you no the last of 6 you had...
The way you look and smile, I wish I didn't feel so sad...
You always knew just what to say and how to deal with things...
But...
Through all my years of growing up, your still the best Mum yet...

Are you my friend, or are you not?
To stand by me when times get grot!
To share a joke and walk a mile!
To just kick back and share a smile!
Loyalty and sacrifice, that is ment to be?
Honesty and laughter both for you and me?
Trust and understanding, there to lend an ear!
Knowledge in knowing, that my friend is there to care!

Dear God, can you hear me?

The happy funny joyful me?
Where am I, I just cant see!
The person who I lost back then!
Back round the time when I was ten!
I want me back, when I was free!
Free of the pain and misery!
Here has made me sad and blue!

Oh to dream, is it a sin...
Or chuck the thought straight in the bin...
To wish for love, for hope, for me...
I ask just this? for God to see...
To be alone, so sad for some...
Is that why we, reach for a gun...
To end a life so lost of hope...
To ask for help, a long strong rope...
No! we say, things arnt that bad...
We just are so so very sad...
Stand up and look around at beauty...

I am me,not mean or rude or cruel...
Compassionate and sensitive, coz that is just my rule...
There to lend a helping hand wenever your in need...
My life awaits the time to plant that little seed...
For joy and love, for honor, faith and bliss...
For in my life, its that I miss...
Im just me, a very loving mum...
One who loves her kids, and wants to have some fun...
Not much to ask, be free of strife...

To Believe
Why believe the things they say?
Believe in me, and come what may!
Why listen to made up stories?
fabrications in all their glorys!
Things they say are all just lies!
You listened to them and said goodbye!
You have no faith, no staying power.
The lies they rain, like a full on shower.
You, you no, your just as bad!
You listen to lies, you make me mad!
Get up you fool, and make a stand!
Your ignorance is oh so bland!
But you wont do that, thats too hard.
Now with that brush you have been tared.
What a shame you are so weak!

Wheres your arrow, wheres your bow?
Hurry up, why be so slow?
My fairytale knight in armour!
Rides a horse, no one can harm her!
Lifts her up, safe in his arms.
She looks at him, so full of charms!
The strenght he shows is true to form.
No more she'll feel her lifes a storm.
Oh for the gift of dreams so free.
Only there for me to see.
I no one day, my dream will live.
If I ask god, he might just give!

I never want again to cry.
