Who is he?
A friend! is that "who is he"...
A confidante, whos helping me...
Why? when others hurt me so...
Is he around, to help me grow...
To pick me up from all lifes sorrow...
To build me up a new tomorrow...
Why does he just help me so...
Is there a reason? I dont no...
Maybe he is, he is my friend?...
Here for me with no pretend...
I cant work out why hes around...
His presence here, no need for sound...
I feel he really is my friend...
Friendship given, not to lend...
Is he the one who will stand true..
Without the kick to make...

The consequences of our actions! Be it good or bad!
To do unto all others, be it nice or sad!
To stare a situation, directly in the face!
To have no other choice, than put it in its place!
To do bad to another, wether ment to be!
Kama knocks then at your door,oh yes now we'll see!
Life it seems so rosy, then you hit a glinch!
Then you get a little nudge, or it could be a pinch!
You have said a little thing hurting someone so!
Kama strikes straight back at you, see now? do you no!
Then you told a porky pie, yes that means a lie!

my prayer
Dear god, give me strength...
Patience long outway its length...
Please give me mind of faith...
Help keep my children safe..
Please give me sense of grace...
Help me keep a younger face...
Please treat my knees with care...
Keep my mind free of fear...
Fill my heart with yet more love.
Warm my hands with woollen gloves...
Keep a roof above my head..
Please dont let me end up dead...
This I ask for you to hear...
Coz as for all, I no you care...

My eldest son
Well son, this I have to say, When you were born, Oh what a day!
I just knew before your birth, you would much fullfill your worth!
When I looked into your eyes, what a wonderful surprise!
My wee son, such black long hair, with a face so very dear!
With the bluest eyes I'd seen, just so bright, nowhere near mean!
You the apple of my eye, Oh the pride, I sat to cry!
You just looked at me with love, with beauty of a flying dove!
I held you close, my heart did swell, I was proud, yes all could tell!
My much wanted baby son, Through our years we've had much fun!...

Okay, now my cheeky boy, Yes I saw you throw that toy!
Don't you think that I cant see, what you try to hide from me!
Don't you stand and blame your brother, or your sister, try another!
Yes you are the cheeky clown, racing halfway round the town!
Mischeif thats your second name, trouble yes that is your game!
Yes now on the day of birth, you did show your side of worth!
Full of life right from the start, Propped up in your brothers cart!
Always side by side with Dad, Yes your tools you always had!
Trotting round fixing things, Yelling out "ouch mum that...

You think you won, by sticking out your neck...
You and I both no, your little game you played...
I will never forget, and you shoulda stayed away...
To come between two friends like that, silly wee mistake...

You'll always be my friend!
Through our years of friendship, we,ve had our ups and downs...
The sad days and the moments and the days we act the clowns...
But just because people come between us as they do...
Dosnt mean I'll ever lose respect, I have in you...
Your my friend and always you will be, no matter what...
If you ever need me, feel alone, or lose the plot...
I will always be here just a call or txt away...
With a hug and comfort to defuse your awful day...
It is sad that others have to be the ones to say...
Wether we are fit to be best friends, if its ok...
It is just...

What is family, are they ment to be there as a whole?
Or is their purpose just to kick you low, into a hole?
Are they ment to be supportive, loving, true and kind?
Or are they just there to play head games with your mind?
Are your brothers, sisters, wether blood or step siblings?
Ment to be your mentors and give love without quibbling?
Yes or no, depends on how they feel about you then!
Wether you are in with them or on the out again!
Dosnt matter what you do or what you try to say!
They take whatever they want out of it that day!
They will have a bitch...

The joy of happiness
Laughter, joy and humbleness, makes for joyful friends...
When youve done a slipup, just say sorry, make amends...
Have a beer, have a laugh, a good song playing loud...
Hanging out with your good mates, dont need to have a crowd...
What did we do last nite, shhh dont tell, but it was funny...
I wont tell mate, but you gota say, he was just a honey...
Did you see the break dance? oh my god that was a hoot...
Yeah but did you see that he had only on one boot...
Yeah but it was good and the sight was outa mind...
Yeah the picture was a little much, but we'll...

My daughter, my girl!
Like a diamond in the sky, thats my girl, by and by...
Shes my treasure sent to me, from our god! hes good to me...
Here to lift me up when sad, calm me down when i get mad...
Have a laugh when we're in need, share a joke or two indeed...
Thats my girl, my pride and joy, just the same as are my boys...
Such a tiny dear wee soul, born she looked just like a doll...
Tiny little baby hands, cute wee face, played in the sand...
All too quick, she grows so fast, Baby traits they didnt last...
Oh how sad my wee one grown, Out now living on her own...
Seems like...

Pride of a mother!
To have been blessed, with the grace of two sons!
The pride you feel just rolls in, in tons!
To watch them grow from birth and go!
So far in life, So much to show!
From push on bikes to their first car!
From crys of need to then succeed!
The toils of life theyve had to bare!
Their mum around to always care!
The growing up so fast its sad!
Not long enough my boys I had!
Now all grown up and living life!
Alone to deal with any strife!
But I no they are not alone!
They have eachother, together grown!
To go through life side by side!...

Its been 3 years now just passed, since last I saw your face!
The time it seems so quick but at a saddened pace!
My younger brother out of 3, my soul is not the same!
I feel I have a missing part, a peice that now feels lame!
But I no that your now at peace with all whom we have lost!
Yet I no that that the heartache left is soley at our cost!
Wish that I had been there for you at your time of need!
And ever since, ive never had a day my heart dont bleed!
I never got there quick enough,I tried but was too late!
