MY FAULT
It's not my fault you fall over
and decide not to get back up
It's not my fault the wind blows away
all the chances you had
It's not my fault you can't decide
what you want in life
It's not my fault i don't want to be
a part of every single catastrophe

DROWNING
When I fell I didn't think i would go this deep
I didn't think i would be forgotten
Was i ever thought of?
Was i ever loved
When the darkness seeped around me
When the coldness enveloped me
When the light started to fade i smiled
Everyone finally got what they wished for
I hope your fine now
I'll see you in hell

It would be easier to be happy if you didn't hold me down.
It would be easier to be myself if you didn't pressure me.
It would be easier to love if you didn't pull my heart apart bit by bit.
It would be easier to care if you didn't steal all my emotions.
It would be easier to write if my every word wasn't full of you.
It would be easier to smile if you didn't steal my smiles.
It would be easier to have fun if you hadn't destructed all my happiness.

Watching, waiting,
Expecting you to storm through the door any second,
Demanding an explanation,
I DON'T FOLLOW YOU!
I'm not your excuse.
I don't want to be your anything.
Everyone is surrounded by drugs and alcohol,
But i'm surrounded by you.
Every look in the street,
Every glare,
Every breath,
Is full of you.
I don't want to be your excuse.
I don't want to be your anything.
I don't want be expected.
I don't want to be your victim.

NEVER ESCAPE
Drifting, Staring, flying away.
Having no control.
I was told to keep it a secret,
To not tell a soul.
He told me i was worthless,
He would hurt me without a fight.
and i'm sad to say after all that pain,
For once he was right.
He let me go and as i left,
He told me he would always watch.
I was well aware and stayed quiet,
Until i forgot.
I told the police I told my friend,
And I remembered what not to say.
And I saw him smiling outside my window,
Right that very day.
He took me again and beat me up.

What is Love?
People say that the quick glance can catch your breath,
The small smile sends your heart racing,
The quietest laugh can break a heart,
but what is love really?
Is it something everyone wants but doesn't need?
Is it something that sends people crying themselves to sleep?
Is it something that makes life bearable?
Just think, who would you be without that one person that always makes you laugh?
Who would you be without the person who broke your heart?
Who would you be without that one person that just gets you?
Who would you be,
Without love.
