Revelation
Walking down the rocky path where all must bend and turn,
Reflecting on epiphanies of life, the questions in me burn.
Stumbling, falling, searching, as if on a knowledge quest.
Though on certain days, it seems there is no time for rest.
Laughing at the simplistic answers, found within my heart,
Always knowing the journey to wisdom is forever at the start.
Wanting to reach a level of enlightenment hopefully through grace,
Never to be attained in vain, I hope my life will have no a trace.

TRANSFORMATION (collaboration- adagio)
Listening to the breeze that shakes the leaves
And the shadows of Autumn beneath my feet
Missing the butterflies as they fly free lilting up on air
Now dying on the flight to a destination unknown
Feeling the soul of the motherlode of greed
The need to gather creatures prepare for dismissal days to come
Crunching decay of Falls decline beneath my feet
That return into the white of winter burgeoning chill
With ashes of the wind walkers of the brazen greaves
Now unchained disguised as the living season
In shadows of a garden filled...

The Stars Are A Highway To Heaven
The moon in the midnight sky takes me through the hourglass of time.
I can hear a yearning ancient voice calling me inside my gazing mind.
The stars are a highway to heaven,
It's where I want to be.
The stars are a highway to heaven,
A place where I am free.
I feel the pulling strands attach to me, and I fly up high into the dark sky.
I dream of going home one day, it gives me the deep wish and desire to try.

When Life Takes You Prisoner
When life takes you prisoner and your chains are hanging low,
You feel like you are trapped in a cage and nowhere left to go.
You feel, as if, your losing your mind and there is no escape,
It seems to be unjust, you must always wear the Superman cape.
Looking off into the distance, as you peer deeply at your life;
Your mind ponders everything, weighting the pleasure from the strife.
You wonder if it was worth it, or if you should have cared at all,
Difficulties are always piling up, until you're looking at one big ball.
It feels overwhelming...

Silence Of The Night
A night of stillness creeps in slowly,
As a graying mist rolls in from the moors
The shining full moon rises high
Over old mausoleums with sealed doors.
Howling wolves heard from a distance,
And croaking frogs from a nearby bog
Slow and haunting winds blow lightly
Through trees reaching out from the fog.
Reflections of the moonlight shines
On somber decrepit aging stones
A phantom passes through an iron gate
To walk a forgotten graveyard all alone.
Drifting above the dewy grounds
Gliding over abandoned...

A Farewell To Thee
She peers into the distance with tears falling from her eyes,
For, the ship that is departing, she waves her last goodbyes.
Soon over the horizon, the ship's form slowly fades away,
Not to be returning until after spring, the captain did say.
She walks home alone, a longing held in her heart,
Dreaming of their dreams, together a new start.
Before her love left dock, he gave her a small ring.
Told her that they would marry on his return after spring.
To her father's dismay, she was willing to be a sailor's wife.
He did not see this man...

Death Comes Stalking Stealthily
Death comes stalking stealthly, entering in in silent resolution,
Slipping in unaware of life's eternal existence and conclusion.
A candle flickers in darkened shadow, like a spector in the night,
Weaving dances of determined duty to extinguish all living light.
Beautiful Reaper glean my soul, in my pain and lost despair
Release me from my melting heart, for staying I have no care.

dance across the misty moors,
Gliding over the pebbled beaches
and the silver sandy shores.
Two lovers entwined as one,
in a swirling rhythmic dance,
Both lost in love for eternity,
a never-ending romance.
Two companions float across
a midnight sapphire sea,
Not caring where they go,
or where they're supposed to be.
Two shadows mingling together,
in a breath of salty air,
Enamored with each other’s light,

How can they say this and then they do that
Seeking approval through all of the scat.
Bending your ear while telling their lies
Guiding you fate while blinding your eyes
Watch their hand move telling their rants
Other hands steal money out your pants
Listening fools duped no matter the side
Pisses you off because you can't decide.
Pitiful fool, wool that covers your eyes

Gazing into a pool of dreams, figures dance through time,
As a swirling haze of purple hues are stirred in abstract design.
Fragments of shadows and imagery, cast reflections in its wake,
Of a past that has already been written, and a future left to make.
Casting spells with energies are pulling from your hands,
Gathered from the universe, given to wizards among man.
Feeling the rush from within, as the forces gather around,
Grasping for some reigning control, as elements surround.

MIRROR/RORRIM
I gaze into the mirror, as if, it were in a dream,
My image peering back is not as it may seem.
Could it be the real me on the reflection side,
Or, the actor of my dreams, the one I try to hide?
If I am an actor, in a play of a strange reality,
Perhaps, my reflection is the one I wish to be.
My alter ego, who explores my imagination,
One that takes me at night, to a destination.
It takes me on a journey into my inner soul,
By train, plane, or starship, I have no control.
Meeting those I may never see, or ones I hold dear, ...
