POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Just been writing for 4 months, so be gentle with me.
The Coming
It is coming
Slowly, gradually
But as sure as
The next
Dawn rises
On the
Eastern horizon
Something bad
Comes this way.
Beware of the
Calm, before
The
Storm.
The pitiful screams
From the abattoirs
Of those
Born in the
Genetic labs
Have reached a
Crescendo
The chimeras
Rebel.
Beware of the
Calm, before
The
Storm.
The multitudinous
Spewed from the
Wombs for
Reasons, unknown
Gasp and splutter
Starve, cry and
Bewail their
Forced, wretched...

Fond Memories
He raised the belt
And lashed
That raised a welt
Angry and stinging
I backed away
In fear
This he sensed
Amid my tears
Advanced
Raised again
CRACK!
Intense hurt
Always the legs
Demented eyes
Spittle on lips
He whipped again
I curled, into
A ball
Burning pain
Burns my hips
I try to reason
Placate
Beg,
Beseech.
No good,
No damn good!
He must exhaust
His fury upon
His seed
How his own
Father must’ve hurt
Him, and
Now I
Must suffer for
His own pain
...

Death, under the radar
Drones,
Silent with
The gaze of a Peregrine
Falcon, that
Descends
Surely, swiftly,
Bringing death.
No trial by law,
Just obliteration.
And like the Peregrine,
It knows no borders.
Silent with
The gaze of a Peregrine
Falcon, that
Descends
Surely, swiftly,
Bringing death.
No trial by law,
Just obliteration.
And like the Peregrine,

De Profundis
I hunger,
For my youth.
For those lazy,
Hazy, crazy,
Sperm-filled days.
When my eyes
Feasted with devilment,
Instead of mockery,
Upon the young
School of nymphs
That swam up
And down the corridors
Like silver darlings
Of the sea
The wonderment
Puzzlement
Of the flesh.
Memories of
Soft bouncy buttocks,
Budding breasts
Licentious legs
That tormented,
Teased, pleased
That frenzied, wild
Stirrings of my loins.
How i loved life then,
With it's silent promise
Of great things to come.
For my youth.
For those lazy,
Hazy, crazy,
Sperm-filled days.
When my eyes
Feasted with devilment,
Instead of mockery,
Upon the young
School of nymphs
That swam up
And down the corridors
Like silver darlings

A Glimpse
One day
I saw
Up high
Above, the
Discernable shape
Of a Golden Eagle,
Scavenger supreme,
Gliding solitary,
Amid a sky
Of cerulean hue.
Suddenly,
It veered left,
Diminishing,
In height,
Then sight,
Finally receding,
Beyond
The Mountain
Of Bennachie.

Scavenger supreme,
Gliding solitary,
Amid a sky
Of cerulean hue.

Then sight,
Finally receding,
Beyond
The Mountain

Those certainly were the days
I remember when I was just a wee lad
In school, I must’ve been 10
Teacher told me I did bad
Opened his drawer, scowl on his mouth
He pulled out a long, leather strap
I was scared, I wanted my da
Told me to hold out my hand
I screamed
“NO WAY”
He grabbed my wrist
His eyes demented
I struggled, I screamed
I didn’t want him to hurt me
I wanted my ma
My da
To save me
From this wild deranged beast
I saw the long strap
Being raised in the air
My arm yanked forward
I saw only his back
Then the strap went down...

Black
Black, majestic
Canvas of the
Universe
Black, seen
But,
Untouched
Black, owns
The night
Infinite

Untouched

The night

A Rant
You!
Harbinger of wars
Impeder of enlightenment
I beseech you
Begone, begone with you
Cease beguiling
The weak, the meek
With atonement
For alleged sins
Cease spearing
The flesh of the simple
With your evil seed
Behind the vespers
In the corrupted house
Of your alleged God
For my eyes are open
I see the veracity
Behind the fraud
Scoundrels that you are
You think you own
By lies sown
Spewed forth from
The house of Rome
Intimidators of purgatory
And hell
Inquisitors of death
I pity you...

Global Warming
Trees are sighing
Cascading spent leaves
Dead or dying
Gentle on the breeze
The sun's warm rays
Will soonest disappear
But, do not worry
It happens, but
Once a year
Cascading spent leaves
Dead or dying
Gentle on the breeze
The sun's warm rays
Will soonest disappear
But, do not worry
It happens, but

I Succumb
Dreaming disturbed
Heart arrhythmic
Breathing askew
Aimless wanderings
Of the mind
You witch, bewitcher
You've enchanted me
With your assiduous
Assault upon my being
Albeit foolishly
I let you in
With apprehension
Betwixt the passage
Of my cage of ribs
And allowed you
To stroke my heart
But only
For a little while
As it is so tender
So sensitive
So guarded
To the guiles, the
Wily wanderings
Of love.
I marvel
I fear that
The sharpness
Of cupid's
Unseen arrow
Has once more...

Underground
It's dark in here
Dead boring too
My neighbours don't talk much
I'm floating in a puddle
Of putrefied juices
That have percolated
Through the billion
Pores of my back
It stinks in here
No ventilation at all
A persistent
Hard-shelled beetle
Has been trying to enter
My ass-hole
For the last half-hour
He's beginning to bug me
Wish i could clench
My ass-cheeks
And squish the bugger
But, I'm helpless
I just have to lie
There and take it
Endure the centipedes
Millipedes, slithering
Burrowing,...
