An elegy to headphones
Today my headphones died
No more bells shall ring
No more music to my ears they will ever bring
Today my headphones died
Turned my world to blue
When the last notes from them, away away they flew
Today my headphones died
Left me lonely on crowded streets
Where no one feels the pain of a soul that weeps
