POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Caffeinated Low
my body shakes from the caffeine and lack of food.
my body aches from the repetitive moves.
my arm yells from the cracks of its surface.
my arm tells the story of that kiss.
my eyes blurry from the bad combination.
my eyes may be trying to say "you're done".
my stomach stabs me with the empty sort of pain.
my stomach jabs me in the body and brain.
my head rotates in delirious circles.
my head hates the countless pulls.
my body aches from the repetitive moves.
my arm yells from the cracks of its surface.
my arm tells the story of that kiss.
my eyes blurry from the bad combination.
my eyes may be trying to say "you're done".
my stomach stabs me with the empty sort of pain.
my stomach jabs me in the body and brain.
my head rotates in delirious circles.
my head hates the countless pulls.

a need
desperate desperate desperate
can't you see?
desperate desperate desperate
pleading desperately
as needy as the waves
for the shore
give me this and i'll
never ask more
please come show your face
tell me it's okay
please come tonight
and please stay
can't you see?
desperate desperate desperate
pleading desperately
as needy as the waves
for the shore
give me this and i'll
never ask more
please come show your face
tell me it's okay
please come tonight
and please stay

Liar
I'm a liar.
A deceitful piece of shit.
I'm an illusionist,
always faking it.
Give me black
and I'll make it pink.
Just believe me,
don't even think.
I'll answer your questions
and pass the test.
While hiding my scars
and clinging a knife to my chest.
You think you know me
but you don't.
I barely know who I am,
so you sure as hell won't.
A deceitful piece of shit.
I'm an illusionist,
always faking it.
Give me black
and I'll make it pink.
Just believe me,
don't even think.
I'll answer your questions
and pass the test.
While hiding my scars
and clinging a knife to my chest.
You think you know me
but you don't.
I barely know who I am,
so you sure as hell won't.

my baby
my fingertips beg you to grow faster
beg you to show you're there
i want you to breathe my air
i want to know the color of your hair
and the eyes that stare
i want to see what clothes you'll wear
and smiles you spare
i want you to have the kindness that's rare
we'll be the best pair
let them say what they want, i don't care.
beg you to show you're there
i want you to breathe my air
i want to know the color of your hair

i want to see what clothes you'll wear

Flying By My Neck
My heart was trying so hard to punch through my chest.
My mind was trying its best
to convince the rest.
My toes were holding on tight.
My blurry eyes tried to see the light.
I didn't know what I wanted more tonight.
My neck was beginning to crumble.
My lungs were beginning to fumble.
I was beginning to stumble.
I slowly let go.
I was flying for you.
But I met solid ground again for you too.

You Saved Me
You are the last thing to keep me holding on,
like the thin stem of a leaf in the fall.
You are my only hope,
like a fellow mouse providing warmth during a harsh winter.
You've shown me pain, and love, and forgiveness.
You've shown me desperation.
I can't thank you enough for putting me through all of that
and taking me back in the end.
Without you, I am nothing.
I am the world without beauty.
like the thin stem of a leaf in the fall.

Everywhere
I'm in between
the tiles
of the school bathroom
I'm found in
the tissues
of so many garbage cans
I'm soaked into
the fabric
of my mattress
I'm dried into
the cracks
of my drawers
I'm stained on all
the clothes
of my bedroom floor
the tiles
of the school bathroom
I'm found in
the tissues
of so many garbage cans
I'm soaked into
the fabric
of my mattress
I'm dried into

I'm stained on all

forget
I pull out the knife,
blood drips.
I think about you wanting her hips
and your lips on her lips.
It would be so easy
to never forget,
to constantly regret
the day we met.
But where would that get me,
other than more cuts and tears?
So, it might take years,
but I'll try to forget my fears.
I'll clean off the knife
and put it back in place.
I'll look at your perfect face
and not see a single trace.

Gone~
Someone please
help me.
I'm so far gone,
a corpse-to-be.
help me.
I'm so far gone,
a corpse-to-be.

suicide
pills float in my stomach acid
i float on the brink of death
my eyes only show me blurry
my mind refuses to work
that unexpected action two nights ago
desperate for an escape
now i'm sitting in bed
dealing with the consequences
throwing up
white face
dry lips
i look like death
a corpse
but sadly not a corpse
i float on the brink of death
my eyes only show me blurry

My back softly meets the bed
just as your eyes look up at me.
I slip your shirt off
and smile at what I see.
I let my legs fall to the side
to pull you closer in.
I feel your warm breath on my neck
and your sweet lips on my skin.
You quickly get us both undressed
but then you slow it down.
Your fingertips brush across my cheek,
my shoulder and all around.
I can feel how much you want me
just as desperately as I want you.
I start to touch you everywhere
your back and your chest too.
I bring your...
