Ropeless Anchor
happiness is momentary
without you it sails, never stays
the crests and troughs of emotion
have ceased to peak and spike
floating along without a connection
no port in sight
unable to anchor
hopeless ropeless
incapable of imagining refuge
torments steal my wind
my wonder
where is my line?
why all the thunder?
all the flashes
memories, instincts past
no longer serve me
they only hold me back
waves flood over me
my vessel cracked
anguish seeping though
numb to imminent demise
the water calmly...

Dormant Seeds
my selective hearing only picks up on what I delusionally desire to be true
sifting through what´s weighing me down gleaning a few grains of hope
with these seeds I replant my garden of illusions, fantasies, and dreams
freely I whirl around this garden space where all is how I please
awaiting hopefully a shower to ignite the dormant colors and make my garden bright
lush leaves cradle me as the rain arrives but soon the drops disturb me
all the soft tender petals are destroyed, the stalks stand like naked soldiers
attempting to defiantly defend what their...
