On a river of memories

To a garden of roses
A green field dotted with daisies
Where we napped on a blanket
that I still have

Being unable
Even to express with words or actions
These deep strong persisting feelings
Emanating aches from my heart

Yes, I am aware
I don’t know you very well
Anymore
It’s illogical to believe
I love you
Yet I DO
It’s been too long since I’ve seen you,
conversed,
since I’ve truly known you
Yet somehow at times,
I DO
I DO want to know you ever more & more
I DO know with certainty how very much
I love you!
I DO need to touch your body
(with such electric passion)
unceasing
I don’t really know you anymore
Yet I KNOW somehow
I LOVE you
Yes, I AM aware
It baffles reasoning & logic…
Baffles the exodus of...

Be my Ocean; be my Sea
Waves of green wash over me
Fluid arms of your embrace
Sparkling crests of your face
Dark cool ripples soothe & bury
On your salty surface carry
Missing pieces of our hearts
Solve the puzzle, mend the parts
With seagrass garb, pearls & shells
Mask my sorrow, quench my hell
(This parched survival sans your love) …
Seafoam spray from above
Crash your passion into me
Be my Ocean; be my Sea
Love, my Love, hear my plea
Mighty waves, rewind the days
