May I trace your lips
First gently
softly
with light fingertips
Then with a soft passionate
kiss?
May I rest my face in the crook of your neck
Softly whispering expressions of desire
With lips gently brushing your ear?
May I trace the outlines of your face
Running fingers through your hair
Round your neck to draw you close?
May I gaze into the depths of your eternal eyes?
Might I press my cheek against your strong chest
With a restful sigh
Of peaceful pleasure?
My fingers long to trace your biceps
Finding...

Red & Blue
Have you the courage
Does desire grasp your heart
To taste my flame
And embrace my fire?
Could you hold the heat of my passion
Close?
Or would you shy away,
Pour cold water,
Turn my fires into smoke & bitter ash…
As he did last night?
Could you love me when
I conjure flames
Just as much as in the cool of midnight
Calm & silent?

The empath needs to feel
She needs to feel it all
Then later heal
In the arms that let her rest
Let her feel the darkness
And the sun’s warm smile
Let her eat the fears
And savor every joy
Let her bathe is salty tears of sadness
Fall into the laughter to
If after all the feelings
She might fall at last with you
If you would be the downy nest
Where she could finally find sweet rest
She needs to feel it all

Do you ever wonder why
Repeatedly that final night
I whimpered out your name
into the darkened space

Then all secret pent-up visions,

As a rushing roiling stream
In its pure natural turmoil
Let it all wash over me
Once the flood has receded,
Simply may I with you be?
