When I Was Young
Preacher, teacher
Un-Godly creature
Dream stalker
Straight-line walker
Memory maker
Soul taker
Hypocrite .... Faker
Innocence lost
Childhood tossed
Huge hands pressed
Against my chest
Exploring tongue
Burning lung
First experience
Kept in silence
Bus driver, neighbor - a family friend
Who thought it okay for rules to bend
Anger, terror - mixed as one

Georgia Rain
Thick, suffocating heat
Hot – burning with desire
I welcome you like a summer breeze
I breathe you in.
Crisp, fresh scent mixed with sweat and dirt
Pheromones that make my body hurt
I want to taste you. I’m full of hunger and yearn
You’re my Southern Comfort - without the burn
I take you in –
Swallow you down as far as you’ll go
Tantalizing and tickling until you blow
Thick, slimy, salty – all for me
Like oysters from the deep blue sea
You touch me and I go insane
Hot juices flowing – like Georgia Rain.

Betrayal
I close my eyes and see you
In the bed of someone else.
I try to shake the image
But nothing really helps.
I try to imagine the conversations,
The words spoken and texts sent,
Did you ever think to mention me?
Or was your relationship content?
Did you talk to me and turn around,
And plan a weekend tryst?
Did you think of her while with me?
My insecurities are too long to list.
Did you make love to me the night before,
Then fuck her in the morning hours?
Did you set your alarm to wake up early,

Angel of Death
Oh Angel of Death – hear my plea
Take my hand and guide me
My soul is restless and my body is weak
It’s mercy I need and peace that I seek.
Gather me in your arms so strong
Please oh Angel, don’t steer me wrong.
Heaven is the refuge for which I long.
Please dear Angel, show me the way,
Don’t leave me to suffer another day.
My eyes cannot see and my mouth cannot talk,
My hands cannot hold, and my legs cannot walk.

I’m alone, enveloped in darkness –
yet I sense you’re near
My body trembles, yearning …
wishing you were here
I wrap my arms around me,
pretending it’s your embrace
My breath comes quick and shallow
and my pulse begins to race
I feel your warm breath along my body
as the wind gently blows
My body tingles and I begin to quiver
as my eyes slowly close
Heat radiates off my body
as my hands start to explore
Longing for you to touch me,
craving so much more
