Broken
Today my fragile heart speaks of shattered dreams.
Like visible fissures and cracks on a wall.
Oh so familiar twinge of pain evident from the tears upon my face from it all.
In a broken mind state.
I'm separated from the reality of this place. Instead I occupy the space next to where love was held.
And you wonder why being around me is like walking on eggshells.

Your body still sparks my desire. Turning my already evident passion for you...into a roaring fire.

Darkness...the veil that cloaks my now black heart.
Misery and Pain...the only things I feel.
Love and happiness are not real.
After much internal strife and commotion
Anger my only discernible emotion.
Hell is my set destination.

They do not see me...but I watch them. Emotionless with dead eyes.
They do not know...but I've come for him. Cold determined soulless.
They have no clue...that I'm here. So no fear is displayed.
Only when one drops lifeless while the others near...does he fear...
Now he knows I'm here and I've come for him....
Cloaked in pain, surrounded by darkness,
hearing the screams of countless souls. I hear YOU...I'm here for you.

Thunder cracks & makes the skies cry.
The flash of lightning, whispers of shattered lives.
The cold rains come,

Empty inside, hearts cold
Emotions...no.
The truth I speak.
Lifes warmth has been ripped from me.
Dead inside, no heartbeat,

It's so cold...I think I'm dying inside. Nothing but darkness, nowhere for my soul to hide.
