POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
She (under construction)
jammin to some nujabes
soul singing alecia keys
smile everytime you breath
there for your every need
i feel it when your heart bleeds
into a sea of lust
yea you were the first crush
thinking if i got your trust
seeing you is a must
I wanna see your face blush
I know we started in a rush
soul singing alecia keys
smile everytime you breath
there for your every need
i feel it when your heart bleeds
into a sea of lust
yea you were the first crush
thinking if i got your trust
seeing you is a must
I wanna see your face blush
I know we started in a rush

USA free verse
Across our 50 states and great lakes waves our nation’s flag.
It waves gallantly across the seas for all to see.
America is the big great country where all want to be.
It’s the final destination to many who seek the key, to the engine of their new lives.
Truth!
No, all I see are us the poor masses crumbling from the struggles of life,
the poor masses to which many of us call home.
The poor masses that park on front porches,
Crippled by the heat of the government’s financial torches,
Crippled by the microcosmic system of a pen and sheet of white paper;...

His death wasn't a heart attack
Long life wasn't his path
But at least he made us laugh.

Olamide Flower Olamide Queen
when I look at my Olamide Flower
When I look at my Olamide Flower
The personification of beauty and perfection
all put together in strong black woman
a strong black goddess that she is
i see a clear sincere eyes that meet mine
i see happiness and joy
i see a cutie
i see a princess
i see a woman fighting a battle inside
a battle she is winning
i see her; when i look,
into her warm eyes i see a warm-broken heart
a warm-broken heart i yearn to embrace
a warm-broken heart i search for tools to repair

Queen
My beautiful queen my beautiful queen
when my eyes last beheld you, I wished nothing had come in between
feelings that swirled around me like a whirlwind
surrounding little school children on that play yard
that play yard of whispers, and first kisses, hits and misses
through the crowdof children your face is the only one that shines
like candle in the dark, the streetlights at the park
your beauty always brightens up my world
what world? this school world of false loves and turtle doves? makeups and breakups?
but she is the master of...

As I Wake Up
As i wake up, As I wake up
As i wake up i hear the birds chirping
blue birds yellow birds red birds,
birds chirping peace to me
and for this i cannot help but wish nothing less
yet nothing more for i am content
content with the peace for with which i know hold
holds me tighter than a woman's grasp
the grasp with which is so sweet
sweet content i feel for which life is offered by the masses
thankful am i for what life has offered by the masses for which i am grateful
and content, recite this i must, for it keeps me peace
as i wake up

Family
Alright my young poets and poetress-es im bout to spit something off the top of the dome
something bout the home, ya see
me and my family i love them they love me
yes i know but see just sit back, have a cup of tea
because for what i shall say may take your breath away.
My fam my kin, man where do i begin i cannot comprehend.
yea fam is important, fam is what binds us together like my ancestral "bredrin" bearin that blight
but pay no mind to that plight for there is light,
that i shine, on that family that raises us up when we're down, never frown...

Temptations
My temptations my temptations
Swirling around me, like voices
arguing, bickering intertwined with conciousness
my talking heads just wont shut up
but in front of me my temptation, well shaped out
curvy veluptuous calling me calling me
making me do opposite of what mind tells me
but everytime I listen, you listen and you listen
we all listen
I guess its cuz we young,
I guess its cuz we young and dumb
But see life is too short for this bull yet too long to worry
No matter how much it pushes and pulls you
No matter how sweet the fruit in...

Invisible Man
Left away, society has left away
All that is left, is me.
no one to care for me and no one to feed me,
No one to bare with me no one to share with me.
Yes they have all forgotten about me,
A small inkling of their family;
Small, family nonetheless but they could care less!
Why cant they be selfless?
Great wealth put to use in vain and yes to my disdaine
Haha how mundane?!
Binded to the cold yet receiving concrete blocks that define my home, but they accept me.
Confined by the 4 corners of that brown manmade packaging we all love,...

The breadbowl
Breadbowl,
bread bowl,
that bread bowl empty like distant space in deep space
That expression on face when they open up the bread bowl
Look around you now look at those with that empty bread bowl
Their plates and bowls sit like Empty round entities
Desparity and depression they suffer for that which we take for granted
To them its an obsession
To most its a possession
They Come home late? Only to behold the table absent of plates
But i cant stand the absence of hot plates all across the 50 states
And more
I cant take this deprivation...
