Lost, forgotten
Lost, forgotten
Used and abused
Why did you leave me?
Alone, broken
Ripped at the seams
How could you have forgotten me?
Memories, fading
It has been so long
Will I ever see you again?
Darkness, surrounding
My heart aching
Who has taken my place?
Forever, belonging
Yet forgotten in a crate
When will you remember me?
Loved, abandoned
Dusty from the passage of time
Why forget your cherished Teddy bear?

methodic melodies
Methodic melodies sound from a great hall
Systematic dances stepped in perfect time
Couples turn and sway in mirrored unison
Frozen is the sand in the hour glass
Hands on the clock forever stilled
A single moment suspended in time
Forever left turning with the music
Individuals lingering in the hollow great hall
As methodic melodies play
And they remain forever stilled in time
While all the world continues to turn

my best friend
Friends from the start
There was no hiding
Always together
Rarely apart
Parties, bonfires, church
Just hanging out
Talks about everything
And nothing
You made me stronger
You taught me how to live
You showed me a way out
Of a life I was stuck in
We were forever friends
Then,
My life moved forward
Towards the woman you
Help give me courage to be
You lived your life as well
Moving forward in a direction
You needed to go
I got married and moved
Our conversations fading away
It is just the way it happens...

haunted by the past
Haunted by the past
A single moment in time
Forever will last
In this memory of mine
Everyday no escape
This memory so stirring
Laid out as a drape
My heart left yearning
Bittersweet this memory
Euphoria interlaced with distress
This all just part of my story
Birth and a brush with death's caress
Sweetness so easy to embrace
The taste pure pleasure
Happiness revealed upon my face
Joy beyond all measure
Bitterness hard to swallow
Sorrow lingers seemingly without end
The feeling left behind is...

Marriage
Two hearts become one
Two lives intertwined forever
Happiness and joys
Pain and heartache
A choice to love
Passionate and deep
Forever together
Side by side to face life
Hand in hand
Over mountains
Thoughts valleys
Into forests of confusion
Or pain
Trust and forgiveness
Only together is there strength
Success is made together
Through perseverance
And love
Mingled with precious memories
Our lifetime blessed
Together

The moon Is high in the night sky
All the stars glisten
The day has come to an end
Night time has drifted over the land
Rest now, sleep in peace
May precious babies
My sweet little ones
Sleep in peace
And dream
Dream sweet dreams
Of mommy and daddy
And lots of fun
Rest peacefully
Rest knowing we love you
Forever and always
Tomorrow brings a new day
Of learning and fun
Excitement and laughter
But tonight
Sleep
Peacefully sleep
And know
Mommy and Daddy love you
So now sleep in peace

To play just one more game

Tournament goes on...
Glistening in the warm morning sun
Royal festival games have begun
The rhythmic song of clashing swords is sung
Fighting to catch the eye of beauty so young
Tournament goes on…
One by one in defeat men fall to the ground
Pressing on the others fight even harder for the sound
Sweet victory soon to be declared
Title, lands, money and love theirs to be shared
Tournament goes on…
Muscles aching, sweat dripping, blood spilling
With sword in hand every young man willing
His body and heart to continue for the prize
Out of the masses only one will...

my pen is still
My pen is still
Motionless upon this page
Inside feeling ill
All emotions in a rage
Unsure of how I feel
So many things on my mind
Tired, down I kneel
In sleep I leave it all behind
But once I wake all remain
Unable to move this pen
Swarming thoughts in my brain
A lonely page this has been
Now I take up my quill
Lines of ink paint this paper
In my heart I find my will
All uncertainty gone like vapor
Clear are my thoughts
Calm become my emotions
Well it all has wrought
Again I regain my notions
Motionless upon this page
Inside feeling ill

dirty tears
Dirty tear drops falling down
Down the face of one so sad
Sad from life and the hurts inside
Inside one's self the pain remains
Remains hidden from the world
World doesn't see and doesn't care
Care about the hurts so deep
Deep are the roots from these dirty tears
Tears wishing for more
More out of life and one who cares
Cares truly about the tears that fall
Fall down this sinners face
Face of lies in need of saving grace
Grace from up above we have
Have to only kneel down and pray
