Son and Sill
I bought two quarter horses, a gelding and a mare.
Well, Cowboy Jim, he warned me, "Those critters are a
pair,
A team. They're broke for riding and for driving, but
you see,
If you try to part them, there is no guarantee
That one without the other will make a happy horse.
What that would amount to would be a horse divorce."
But what Jim did not tell me was that their equine
love
Was pretty much one sided. I watched that gelding
shove
The mare aside, and bite her. He wanted all the food.
His kiddish, spoiled behavior appeared...

I Will Be My Brother's Keeper
I’m writing about somebody who described his day (yesterday) as ishy. He was asked if he qualified for The Discount. Why he didn’t explode on the spot, I don’t know. I saw the person who asked him.
