upon this misery

monster in me
i can feel it
locked away
just below the surface
it makes my skin crawl
its coming closer
i need a fix
just one little things
to put it back in its place
my victum
so young yet so out spoken
they cry out
but the best feels no shame
and the game entices him
he burst through the surface
and the child is gone
content once more
he recedes
back into the depths of my minds
and i am back
if only for a moment

just below the surface

i grab the metal spike
