Sister
There for me always, always so bright. Amazing and fun, shows me the light. We tell eachother everything, when we feel alone. Our loved ones will not guide us, no one's at the phone. But you are always there sis, no matter what the cost. I know if I'm without you, I am surely lost.

Darkness
There I sat, in a room all alone. All that was there was a bat and a phone. The phone rang once, and I was quick to answer. But the news shocked me much, like the wake of a cancer. You hung up the phone, and I picked up the bat. Smashed it to pieces, and the room went black. I sat there for days, weeks, months, years. Sat in the darkness, silent in fear.

Longing
The longing. I waited for years, years for that day. The date was set, on the calendar it lay. But she got in the way, in the way of our love. She came and she left, like the stars from above. We finally touched, our hearts as one. The whole day I longed, longed for one kiss. But she got in the way, and I was to pay. And then you were gone, back on a plane. I hung my head low, cowering in shame. But now I have you, the world is right. The longing, my darling, I no longer fight.

Pinch
Splash, foam, bubbles. Little feet tip toe over the soft sand. The boat rocks behind, the island rests in front. Pinch. The finger feels tingly, rises from water. The little crab dangles, blue as the water. The boy swings his arm, and the crab goes flying. Pinch.

Pearl Harbor
Peace, serenity, warmth. The ships rock silent, the wind whispers. Waves lap softly, sailors swear crossly. The planes come down, fly over town. Deliver some gifts, causing the rifts. Arizona, Utah, Oklahoma. The fire rises, the smoke engulfs. Hell has broken, leaving a token. The day is done, down with the sun, go the ships of Pearl Harbor.

Love is Nature
Love is like a river. Complicated, twisting and winding through the fabrics of earth. Ripples, stills, bubbles up at any time. It falls, but always keeps going, always keeps flowing. The river dries up, but is reborn. Love is like a river.
Love is like a bird. Born weak, clinging to survive in the bustling, confusing world. Time goes on, it gets stronger. Learns to fly, grows to span distances that make man shudder. Gets old, falls like an autumn leaf. But there are always birds in the sky. Love is like a bird.
