How do you sleep so well at night?
I don’t
I mean, I do
But I also wake up dripping
Over some nightmare or dream
That faded away as soon as I saw
My blankets in front of me
I sleep well

Let Me Stay In Bed
I love life
I love living
But there are days
When it feels like my shirts are choking me
And everything my eyes land on
Has me questioning if it could hurt me
If I could use it
When I physically can’t function
And I snap at everyone
Because if you talk to me
I won’t listen
I’m too busy trying to deal
With the voices in my head
I don’t have energy to change my clothes
Or shower
Or brush my hair
I’ve been fighting
My teeth have been gritted ...
I love living
But there are days

FIRST——cascade
Lots of things suck
Long nails and heat
Sticky honey on your fingertips
Flowers dying
The wind blowing so hard
You can barely breathe
Life in general
Life can suck
It seems sweet
But then takes all your loved ones away
Leaves you in the dust
Not once looking back
Maybe I'm being emotional
But I have reasons to feel
And I feel ruthless
And horrified
And exhausted
Tell me one more time
I'm being dramatic
And I will snap
I will fight
And hit
And bleed
Until...
