Sewing is my hobby
Teaching is another thing
Explain with examples
Demos over videos
Can I do that?
Can I really do all this?
I like helping people
But what does helping people mean?
Lending a hand, being the bigger man

Shaking hands, taking a stand
Use your voice like you got no choice
For the people, with the people

Sharing and caring
Giving and recieving
Love over money
Passion, compassion
Yes, yes, yes!
But what does this all mean?
Where will this all lead? ...

Stuck, unstuck
Going out is better than staying in
(Sitting still over taking action)
Letting it out is better than keeping it in
(Keeping quiet over being vocal)
So what is the matter with me?
All these feelings bottled up inside
Makes it hard for me to confide
I don't know what to tell people
I just want to be heard
Is somebody out there?
ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?
Allow me to explain, my pain:
When I'm in the house I'm stuck
Finding the answers I determine to look for
Unravel that box, open that door
I just can't do it

Fighting the enemy
My brain feels like a block of cheese
Tryna fulfil my glass
Like a lemon squeeze
Desperation of tryna get something done
Why can't I know now, that I have won?
Exasperating
Heart pounding
Fiddly fingers
Has anxiety come back to bite me?
Fighting the enemy
I sense worse is coming
But under your wing God
I ask that you protect me from all sin
Bring hope into my life
I wanna laugh and smile more
Everyday we could be at war
With the devil
As they try to bring us down
To their level ...

I stopped saying hi
From seeing familiar faces
Twisting, turning
Shaking off the hate
From those who touch me
Or come near me
That I do not like them
I don't like you!
GET OFF ME!!!
I don't wanna talk to you

The leaflets are coming
How many times can we say and admit
"I LOVE MY JOB!!!"
'Coz every time someone asks me
What I do
They make me feel ashamed
But I am not afraid, to claim
To be a paper girl
'Coz I got papers in my trunk
Ready to deliver this junk
Paper is paper (the leaflets are coming)
What you gonna do when you pass the 'no junk mail' sign?
'Coz they giving me a hard time (the leaflets are coming)
Walking down two steps, another five more
Mail box out through the door
You bring home 20
I take out 10
The papers are coming, the...

A wave of emotions
A wave of emotions came back at me
At random, totally unexpected
Tears streaming down my face
Every tear drop must mean something
Is falling into place
A reminder that that
"Its ok to grieve, its ok to cry"
As we keep learning to try
We have made it this far into the course
But every time I enter the lecture theater
I just wish it was you there
Standing there
I miss everything about you
Your whole -hearted spirit
That touched
The many people you
Worked with, met with, talked with
And we forever miss those...

Feeling like crap (find yourself)
Feeling like crap
Think you know all that
Self-realisation (get away from temptation)
Self-discovery (eat me out of my misery)
I wanna laugh
I wanna cry
I wanna sleep on it tonight
Convincing myself good thoughts
That everything will be alright
Come on come on
Why do I feel like crap?
The weight is on my shoulders
My heart is heavy but it's so damn empty
Am I a lost cause?
Been too focused on other people's needs and expecatations
That I forgot mine
How did I forget myself
Talking around asking for help...
Think you know all that

We've seen each other
A little too much, a little too long in April
Is our friendship fatal?
Is our friendship for real or is this some temporary boyfriend steal?
So many questions crawling around
That I don't know what to do
But to simply
Stop and freeze
Feel this cold air breeze
Take a step back

He's all too good to be true
Friendly enough for me to make me fall in love with him (ew?)

I have a crush on you

Why am I so hot and bothered
Thinking about you!?
I care about you
Don't want to care about you
But in every way
You make yourself seem likable to me
So much to be impressed by

Every time I see you
Complications are growing worse
Am I put under a spell or curse?
I feel like I need to stay away from you
To avoid such complications and turning frustrations
The so-called appreciations
And all the love you do to express to me
You make me all the more lost at sea
This feeling
These strange-weird energies
The so-called predictive assumptions
About you
Are they right or wrong?
I can never be sure
Only time can be sure
The time is testing against you
For my sake
I'm having a break ...

Say no, say stop
Have a break from FB
Have a break from LG
Say no to simple recurring choices
That when the same opportunities come around
Like hang out invites, movie nights, potluck dinners, we are all winners
From gaining all of this human need (sow my seeds)
But sometimes we gotta stop
On our paths
And just say no (say no)
Put myself first (put myself first)
Before I start to feel worse (feel worse)

Knowing where I stand with people
