I've been to the place only once in reality,
but many more times in my mind

In reality it was daylight, with children laughing and love shining
In my mind it is darkness, an endless dive into the unknown.

I've been to the top, Ive been to the bottom. It feels like I've done it all.
I know if I'm pushed far enough, I'm not afraid to make myself fall.

And if I let go of all I've held on to, the only fault I have is my own.

You'll move on to a better place, all the while I'll be pining.
