"When Your Face Broke The Surface"
i was all like
"fuck you" with an ice cold Pepsi
and a fist full of pills
oh, the quite country side
and all of it's thrills
i'm sure the Conestoga welcomed you
when your face broke the surface
i know it washed out of you
all the vanity and virtue
all the shit I did to hurt you
"fuck you" with an ice cold Pepsi
and a fist full of pills
oh, the quite country side
and all of it's thrills
i'm sure the Conestoga welcomed you
when your face broke the surface
i know it washed out of you
all the vanity and virtue
all the shit I did to hurt you

"Talking to the Dead"
You are empty
Skeleton bones
And I don't want you
To go home
We look through museums
With books bound in flesh
We look at cancer and death
And I could still feel your breath
You were tired
Even then
If I had known now
That you needed rest
I would not have said
Those things I said
Because now when I talk to you
I'm only talking to the dead
Skeleton bones
And I don't want you
To go home
We look through museums
With books bound in flesh
We look at cancer and death
And I could still feel your breath
You were tired
Even then
If I had known now
That you needed rest
I would not have said
Those things I said
Because now when I talk to you
I'm only talking to the dead

"A Weekend Raising The Dead In St. Michael's"
I.
surrender
your bones
my darling
to my memories
come home
i'm starving
II.
open
your eyes
my darling
from your slumber
now rise
i am calling
III.
untie yourself
my darling
from the sheets
of where
you are rotting
IV.
now start walking
in your youth
pale and thin
come home!
i am starving
