POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
True Destination
Calm on the outside, but
looks can be deceiving.
In the end it doesnt
Even matter at all.
Searching for something not
Knowing what... The Intangible?
To grasp with the mind an
Iron fist, but slips between the
fingers as if grains of sand to
settle at the bottom of the
puddle of human conditions.
A momentary glimpse of the
tranquil water to be stirred
by the boot of uncertainty.
But all to temporary.
Warming sun of fate evaporates identity
the ego.
The puddle is no more.
Not destroyed but evolved,
To the true...

Right & Wrong (Duality)
Like angry siblings qurell.
Their goal they do not know.
Objectiveless and meaningless
Like venom taints the soul.
Self-fulfilling ego sees a
Banquet as it grows.
The heart just sees a wooden steak
Starving as it grows cold.
Their goal they do not know.
Objectiveless and meaningless
Like venom taints the soul.
Self-fulfilling ego sees a
Banquet as it grows.
The heart just sees a wooden steak
Starving as it grows cold.

My Critic
My critic.
My own worst enemy.
Conditioned to cush hopes and dreams.
Always there never tardy.
Like the snake.
Eager and willing to feed me the poison fruit.
Savoring every last piece.
Painfully delicious.
Quenching the appetite of my own destruction.
My own worst enemy.
Conditioned to cush hopes and dreams.
Always there never tardy.
Like the snake.
Eager and willing to feed me the poison fruit.
Savoring every last piece.
Painfully delicious.
Quenching the appetite of my own destruction.

Moon
The familiar stranger looms in the dusk sky.
A man ive seen since birth yet do not know.
Like a heads up penny welded to steel
his back i never see.
I look into his face.
Crater eyes observe the Earth
with an unwavering gaze.
A canyon mout lays silent
For words cannot describe the miracle before him.
To shake this mans hand
Is to shake my right with my left.
To converse with this man is to have a thought
As it dissolve into the eternal depths of my mind.
A construct of the mind
I am this man.

Veteran
Black polished boots stomp along the crumbling pavement.
Eyes focused tearing from painful memories. salted drops stinging cracked battle hardened flesh on cheeks of distraute, emotionally wrenched faces.
Mixed Expressions look on.
Confused intentions mixed to make a cunconction of incubating hate in pure hearts of gold turn cold.
Many sold thier life to a bottle to feel hallow and rott in sorrow.
To a life of crime dayz spent doin time.
Some break the shakles that bind thier minds trudjing throw brow high debris of a shattered conviction to float somewhere...
