True Friends
We are close
Close as thieves
We are friends
Never enemies
We stand together
And we stand apart
But never alone
We're in each other’s heart
Someone to count on
Someone to hold dear
We will always care
When needed we’re there
Because we’re stronger together
Then when we are alone
No one can tear us down
No one can pull us apart
We are true friends
From past to present
And present to future
We’ll always be there
Forever and ever
Friend with a true heart

These Three Words
These words that I want to hear
Over and over and over again
These words that I want to feel
For as long as the world spins
These words that mean everything
To me as long as you mean them
These three words…
Keep them sacred through all of time
Say them only for the blessed few
And show them only when you know it’s true
Those are the rules
Fallow them because they are always true and bare
Now can you please say them
Please say them in my ear
Whisper those three words I want to hear
I Love You, I Love You, I Love You dear
Over and over and over again
These words that I want to feel

No Matter What
My love is like the universe
So vast
So large
So bright
My love is as long as eternity
As long as life
As long as light
As long as you and I
My love is like heaven
And hell at the same time
My worry
My fear
My anger
They well always be here
The worry for your safety
And your love in return
The fear of losing you
And everything we stand for
The anger for all the worry
And fear you put me through
But no matter what
I will always love you

What Would Happen To The World If I Had Never Existed?
I feel nothing but empty
My life is of no importance
I ask myself why I’m here
I think of what I've done
Realizing I've never been needed
I know everyone would have been fine
Not once have I touched
A soul, a heart, a mind
That someone couldn't have done in my place
I am too weak yet too strong
To end my existence
So I ask myself
Every day, every hour
What have I done to exist?
Do I even have something that will qualify?

I’m Not a Maid!!!!!! I’m Your Lover…
I’m a mother, I’m your wife, but I’m not your maid!
Yeah I clean, I cook, and I do what I can at home,
But when did it turn into me having to do such things,
Without any thanks?
What happened to the sweet man I married?
The love that no one could come close to,
The equality of our love,
What happened to us? Why did you change?
Can you tell me anymore what you love about me?
Can you tell me you still care?
Is it bad that I held onto every little girls dream?
Is it bad to thank that you were my prince charming?
I know you aren't perfect, neither...

My Sweet Child
The little feet
The little hands
That push against my stomach as I sleep
The tiny toes and fingers I wish to see
Of my little dancer
My little fighter
My sweet child yet to be born
How I can’t wait to finally meet you
As the weeks go by and you become larger
I wish to hold you in my arms
And as time draws closer
Every second turns into an hour
Every hour into a day
Every day into a week
And yet there is so much time
Before we can meet
But my sweet child
I hope you know this
Mommy loves you now and forever
The little hands

Confirm Your Existence
How often I wish to confirm your existence
To listen to the thrumming of your heart
To know that I’m not dreaming or imagining
To know that you are there
And not just air
Without a doubt how I wish
I wish to hear your heart
I wish to feel your touch

And know that you’ll always be in my heart

I Want You Near
I finally get to see you again
Then you run away.
I see you and we kiss
But as soon as I'm feeling secure
I have to leave and go far away
And you don't seem to understand
It's tearing me apart
I know its hard to tell just how far I've gone
Im starting to wonder if I've gone insane
I feel sick to my stomach just thinking of the fact
And depression is like a hurricane
I feel like a could stay awake for a hundred years
Like I could cry for even more
I want you near is that hard to understand
Then you run away.

When Will You Notice?
Thank you for not paying any attention to what I need.
Thank you for letting me feel alone.
Thank you for not noticing that I feel like crying.
When you pay attention to me I will smile.
When you kiss or hug me I feel like the world.
When you stop me from feeling lonely I will love you more.
The problem now is when and just how long until you realize.
I'm not just a childish woman.
My desire to have you all to myself is no where close to childish.
I love you to much to say good bye.
So I will wait until you realize that what I need is you.
Thank you for letting me feel alone.

Brain Injury Awareness
Brains are keys,
Keys to life.
What happens if those keys are broken,
Or damaged?
What happens to that life?
The key controls every movement, every sound.
When our key breaks can we speak?
Can we move around?
Our Brains are keys,
And with these keys we live.
Can we put the keys that have been damaged,
That have been broken
Back together again?
We can hope, we can wish,
We can try, we can trust,
But no matter what we must be aware
And we must care.
Keys to life.
What happens if those keys are broken,
Or damaged?
What happens to that life?
The key controls every movement, every sound.

Stress
My body is numb,
My heart is racing,
My mind confused.
Stress is building,
Creating the tallest tower in life.
To many numbers, names, images, sounds,
Not being able to register them now.
I'm starting to crash,
With the sickness of stress.
The longer I wait the more I am about to faint.
As I wait I find that it's so hard to climb.
Physically, mentally, spiritually, all exhausted,
and completely numb.
My body is now heavy,
My heart is now slowed down,
My mind is not thinking.
Exhaustion has taken over,
and stress is the...
