POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
Lovesick, depressive, human.
Time And Date
I was an active child, no
You can learn anything at all
With grey spots on walls
And their misshapen rules
Forest fire upbeating over me!
You'll drive me to nothing
You've written it for me
Yet I'm still following you
You, you wanna be what you believe you can be
But can you erase and delete all this grief?
It's part of the business of fallin' apart
You should've known it from the start
I mentioned a date, no
And got myself a time line
To spend on unmade nights
To waste on unborn childs
Forest fire...

How Can I Know If You're Really Here?
There must be something you wanna hear
A camera to take you through town and around
A bar to drink your eyelids out and mine
I ain't got much to show, girl
But there must be something you wanna hear
A few times counted, but you're not really here
A city to walk through while the binary code it breaks
Lotta numbers running above my cloudy head
You ain't got much to show me, girl
So how can I know, how can I know that you're here?
Even in bed I feel my head spinning
My tense neck and my fuzzy sight
Won't let me make the right call...

Red Jacket
I watched you crumble in your red jacket
Looked and looked through a ragged empty pocket
Leave the darkness sit by its throne
It's not the life you've thrown
It's not the love you've grown
It's what you haven't shown
Yet
With you next to my little redish railroad tracks
We talked and talked about the lies and stacks
Leave the patients heal all impaired
It's not the time you've spared
It's not how long you've stared
It's what you have been scared of
I am scared of staring at the things I've spared throughout,...

Cauterize The Carbonite
You've got to cauterize these arms
In an earthly reap, you will find
Another fountain's eye, icing over
It was not the carbonite, to clarify where my hopes would melt or stand
And I'd avoid this night, to testify against the pillars of thick sand
And your hands are held, in warmer hands and blood these days
I tell myself I lack strength and you say I should go find my grace
Beneath our longest graves and seas
We gave birth to something fully new
To the worst of the world itself

Beatings Take Their Place/Out To The Sea
Ravine, caught by the noises
Of tackling sides and houses
I belong to the drowning seas
Stumbling out in thick grease
It was only a long time ago
I reckon I had left no grow
I stirred my sickness for brains
The floor is now all stained
There are paper sheets I'll keep
There are garlands that I'll sweep
Your years they stack with tears
You know I envy your fake peers
Skin could not be softer
For the mother and the bottle
I did not want to bother
But this grieving is a novel to be remodeled
Looks like...

Vital Organs
Hope it's not me, tearing out of your lungs
Is it a charm, that's blinking inside my arms?
The letters arise, form words we don't know
How can you repay, something you don't owe?
Vital signs, lower as we feel our bones break
I never knew, cause every night I was awake
A pillar of dirt, accumulating deep in our hearts
How can I fix up all the little broken parts?
Endless nights in pointless beds
Each of our minds somewhere else
Rise, I thought I'd heard again
And it's most of the love you gain
That you can trade in for life ...

And We Collide
I'm not ready, not ready to see you walking around with him all over town
You'll find me behind the last bench of the last alley of the last street
I'm miserable most days and miserablist when I feel I can be
Alone, will I ever find you alone?
Accidentally threw away my phone
Cross cross, I'm the third outta two
You've got most things at hand but I will always be the last one with you
Burn burn, I'm the coldest one now
You've got shorter arms, but you took more from me than I took from you
I'm not around, not around anymore to witness the...

Three Sides
I took you to the bed
And we twisted words and thoughts
That one day we would keep a secret
Days will pass real quick
Splitting particles and cleaning dust
There's more to this than just a heart
My mind is stuck on you and I,
I've got this game that I want us to play
I've got a problem and I can't get away
My head is all around you and I,
I've been so selfish and dumbfounded
I've been so unreliable and self loathing
But I swear I'll change
I swear I'll change my ways
I bought a gift for you
You were a girl...

(I usually post stuff when they're done, but this is a draft. Feel free to say it sucks)
Come on now, just cut my armor wings
Why won’t you press my hammer keys?
Oh, I'd write you off your feet
I have a maudlin tendency to fail
Everyone needs help, just not me
The songs I sing are over before they begin
Standing next to your moonlight world
The weather's for the clocks, not hope
And the rain's relenting once more
Morning tears of years and a clear sky for me
Winter's fucked by now and so are the winds
Nature speaks but I won’t listen...

West Renfrew
(This one's about a girl that broke my heart, and how she never really had one for me to break)
I was born almost weightless
And grew up to be so careless
The point is to be pointless
Diving down where the dock ends
And I crashed into a wave
Ended up in a frost
But West Renfrew's lost
And it carried me away
It isn't easy to be priceless
Never thought of you like this
And sadly I must confess
That I haven't made any progress
Found you in a wedding dress
Goddamn, now I'm just a mess
Feel my...

Countryside Orchid
Countryside hiding spot
For kissers and believers
Hoping for a new friend
That just won't show up, crashing
In the middle of a river
Medicine and acetate
Travel down the stream
With waves crashing, the shame
I shouldn't let the roses kiss the grass
For once I could let it pass
What would you do if you were me?
What would you say if you were me?
Orchid, carried away by you
Orchid, stumbling down the road
Orchid, crying as she goes
As she goes for you
Airheads keep bursting

Purple Lights
Purple lights, I'm such a masochist
Cut off everything and everyone
And leaving my stuff to drown
I dig a hole to bury the dumb shit I do
It's not a race, but you're so far ahead
What's the point in chasing you?
What's the point in changing you?
The letters mix, so find me a way
Just don't turn off the purple lights
And if you already know I can't sleep
Then please don't ask me to dream away
I kinda like, my pictures warm toned
What's the point in turning black?
What's the point in writing blood?
Cut off everything and everyone
And leaving my stuff to drown
I dig a hole to bury the dumb shit I do
It's not a race, but you're so far ahead
What's the point in chasing you?
