POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
He was the knife in my heart.
What exactly is love? We catch these feelings that make us act like fools or even a child. At least I had an experience that made me look like a fool and left me dumbfounded. I fell madly in love with someone who I thought could do no wrong, but in the end he ended up leaving just like my subconscious knew he would. It was just a matter of time. He seemed so right at the time, he could do no wrong... he was almost perfect.
He knew all the right things to say and when he said them his words would swirl around my brain kissing it. Leaving me astonished that someone could care for me...

This Depression Will Kill Me
I sit in my room.
There's nobody here but me and my thoughts.
They begin to go loud..
Yelling in my head your worthless, your alone, nobody loves you.
I try to hold my tears back but its too late and they are streaming down my
cheeks.
I escaped my depression for a while.
Living with a peaceful mind.
That all went when I was left here by myself.
I just stare in the mirror looking at my reflection.
How can one be so depressed and not get any help.
I cry even more.
My anger starts to kick in and I grab my mirror.
I throw it against...

The Girl Who Suffered
There was this girl who always got talked down to.
Her actions and words were always judged.
She never would of thought that the people she
counted on would destroy her.
Their words cut like knifes leaving scars on her heart.
They were evil and cruel.
But the words she knew would chew through her brain
and mind fuck her.
They all laughed and thought it didn't bother this girl.
But, she has lived through this abuse for 12 whole years.
Day after day, year after year. When does she get a break?
When she's finally fed up and ends her...

A Feeling That Never Goes Away
I look in the mirror.
I take a deep breath in.
Looking at my reflection.
I slowly ease the air outta my lungs.
I try to live happy.
Think positive constantly.
But I realize there's something wrong.
My reflection crying.
But I'm perfectly normal on the outside.
I'm screaming on the inside.
There has to be something wrong.
Something wrong with me.
The loneliness is eating me alive.
Why can't I be like her.
Pretty, thinner, taller...
I always think about this.
I'll never measure up to them.
I deserve to...

The Beauty Of Nature
I go outside for a breather.
The cold air embraces my lungs.
I glance up and see the stars.
They shine so bright.
I sit on the bench.
The moon is full.
It shines bright casting shadows.
The trees, the bushes, all the way up to
My silhouette.
The icy cool air blows slowly.
Pushing a dust of snow across the ground.
It glitters with appreciation.
It's beautiful.
I get goosebumps.
The only thing I can do is realize nature's
Beauty.
I glance up again and see an icicle hanging
On the house.
Shimmering in the light.

The Girl Who Forgot The Bullets
Her eyes filled with pain and anger.
Her heart beats like a drum.
Faster then she can run.
Her cheeks are moist.
Her eyes are a soft blue.
They are filled with tears.
She no longer wants to be here.
Hands are shaking as she digs through her bag.
Pulls out her hand.
A weapon that shines in the light.
She has no time to waste.
So she holds the gun up and puts it into place.
Standing in the woods.
She closes her eyes tightly.
Listening carefully to the sounds of nature.
Trying to catch her breath.
The adrenaline pumping...

Love, Pain and Games
I can't handle the pain
you caused me.
My heart is an open wound.
Fragile.
But know ruin.
I'll never be the same.
You and your stupid games.
You grasp my heart and ripped
it from my chest.
A smirk on your face.
Look into my deep hazel eyes.
They stare back.
Broken, upset.
You leave me with pain.
Yet you still play games.
I sit and cry.
The presence you left.
The memories we shared.
Do you even care?
My broken heart.

The Stranger I Love
I sit and watch you.
You occasionaly say hi.
Then of a blink of an eye
your gone.
My heart drowns in love.
But you dont notice.
I constantly think of you.
Your smile, your touch.
Everything...
It seems that i was only good
for one thing.
And once you got it.
You changed.
But something about you still
makes my heart melt.
I guess love is strong.
But the other has to feel it too.
I drown my eyes in tears.
Hoping you've get rid of my fears.
Its too much, almost unreal.
I can't wait...

Memories on paper
She sits in class.
Hood over her head.
Pen in her hand.
Chiped black nail polish.
She hides the secrets in her
eyes.
But sends them to her hand.
Beginning to write.
She grips the pen hard.
Her eyes widen.
So into that piece.
Nothing can distract her.
Her mind is tangled in old memories.
Letting them release through pen and
paper.
A masterpiece of hurtfullness.
She oozes a tear from her cold silver
eye.
The memories are strong.
Leaving her scarred.
Almost like broken hearts in a jar....

My Job
Apple picking, apple picking.
The joys of the autumn colors.
The crisp air flowing in my lungs.
As the sun rises i close my eyes.
Taking a deep breathe in.
My job.
Apple picking in September.
The trees are weak, yet they still
manage to feed.
The delightfullness taste of sweet
Autumn, behind the layers of apple.
Juicy and delightful.
Walking through the orchards.
Dew on the trees and ground.
It sparkles in the light.
A shiver rolls down my body.
Goosebumps appear on my skin.
This breath taking view is...

The Stick That Got Me Hooked
I look through my dresser.
Find a white stick with the label "Marlboro."
Investigating it with my bloodshot eyes.
I then go outside.
With the flick of a light its lit and to my lips.
Inhaling deeply i remember feeling light headed.
I sit in the chair besides my house.
Wondering how i got this stick.
I become relaxed, my anxiousness goes slowly.
Flicking the ashes they carefully fall to their death.
As for me i feel the smoke in my chest.
As the stick slowly burns i keep taking drags.
Its up to the butt i look...

Smoking the Green
When i take a hit from my bowl,
i let the smoke roll down my lungs.
I keep it there for a moment then release the goodness.
The green grass that keeps me high,
is always there by my side.
Pink Floyd in the background singing "Time,"
i pick up my sketch book and draw.
Letting my mind roam, i create a piece.
Squiggly lines and everything.
The music speaks to me,
rolling around my head kissing my brain,
leaving me with this masterpiece.
Colors so bright it's hypnotizing,
i stare for hours its bright...
