the spins
Vertigo has you spinning madly
And sadly
Nobody is here to help you out
Out of your black hole
Your whole life
Too simple to do right
And fight
For a better existence
When all you do is fade to black
You barter with strange devils
Life has you spinning madly
And sadly
Nobody has a helping hand
You burned a final bridge
No more lives to cross
White wine in the fridge
Another coin to toss
This is your black hole
Your home
Your whole life
And sadly
Nobody is here to help you out
Out of your black hole
Your whole life

Rum in hand
Swatted away your pesky little face
Like a habitual annoyance
In the foreground I sense you stirring
Rum in hand
Gabbing about the building upgrade
I interject my long awaited attack
My underbelly of spiteful remarks
I tend to throw you off track
So you believe in second chances
I'm not malicious
Just dedicated
To swatting your pesky little face
Into tiny bite size mistakes
I will unmask you yet
Captivate your crowd all you like

Haste
I indefinitely wanna be apart of this,
quick needless indecision.
Just wanna be helplessly partial to this,
quick and speedy decision.
Just wanna wait outside of this pointless gas station
and make the whole world seem alright
For me, at least there is no quick indecision
and the whole world seems alright
yeah, the whole world seems alright...
I don't believe in compensation,
and i know why my words elude you
undeserved and righteous development
in words that soothe you
I just desire retribution,
i don't know why...

Stormy normy
Cracks you down, like a storm again mounting rushes of uncertainty
shake the foundation of complacency
Tiny fragments of this time and place
Drain vitality to the eye
Tiny fragments rip like shrapnel
Take me out of this chaotic space
I want to feel new air
Breaks you down, like a storm again
Takes a lash of good reality to understand plight
Take me outside
I want to feel the night
Full sail sets me wandering
Into the eye of the closest sunrise
Drain my last surge of probability
Cage me until the sun comes...

Netflix & spill
When you don't have that spirit
The time or energy to invest in people
To invest in life
You just get caught up somehow
like a fly
In monotony
In that day to day
Day after day
Nights on Netflix
Perpetual lax behavior
And chill
Like a sluggish animal
Weeks melt through life
Like crayons on a radiator
And the colors turn something dull
Into lively entertainment
And prophetic metaphor
When you don't have that gusto
That necessary gumption to quake life
You fall in between radiators ...
The time or energy to invest in people
To invest in life

Granted to
Automatic wishing
Like a problem child
Caught between rehabs
Summer draws end
Like drawn blood from a vile
Like all of these tourists
Really even care
Sometimes it's fruition
Sided with indecisive necessity
I have no strongholds for weak faith
I just want to wish away my health
Everyone around here
Is a zombie
A vain, vacant, lazy savage
Novacain souls
Dreading their sober realities
Autopilot again
Like a problem child

People see it and I want to be adored
God forbid I find myself without praise
One drink succumbs me to a lesser feeling
Maybe its God doing all of that forbidding
I lost a lot of focus in my personal life
To chase this feeling of hopeless adoration
I find myself tagging pictures
With myself
For eons of internet pages at a time
I don't even care much for it deep down
It's all in pursuit to fill a void

These are just illuminated boxes

Submitting to these strangers
darkens the eye liner
All dressed up for the evening
to make shadowy men happy
Let them take you outside
Dance on balcony mirrors
Turn inhibition into champagne
Observe the animals at play
Try to encourage fun
Take the hand of the richest
Painfully fulfill his wishes
Let them take you home
Tonight is for the wolves
Girls are flung in fancy
Flirt with the eyes
You can have the soul

Aloof, gregarious asshole
You forgot your brain again
In your pricey yellow corvette
You forgot how to call your kids and say hello
You forgot what it's like to fly coach
Create a hideaway
For all of your precious items
A sterile mansion overlooking Beverly hills
Bloated with expensive art in gold laced frames
You forgot how to live minimally
You must have forgotten your brain again
Derelict, snoody, self appointed prick
Telling them off on a military grade cellphone
Telling them news of the world
From your rolladex

King of Spades
You have to believe me to make this reality
You have to take a step back
And organize all of your flaws
Into a tangible mess
You have to be willing to crumble
At any given moment
Like a crashing wave
And retreat back into the sea
A wiser man
You have to believe in me this time
Because nobody understands you
Like I don't
They see you in spades
And forget what it's like to taste glory
They waste hours in quiet discontent
And we are the types to make noise
For the sake of your sanity
For the sake of...
You have to take a step back

Impartial to this idea of distance
Knowing fully I will suffer some sort
Of mental breakdown
Or residual anxiety
Of undescribed longing
If I remember your name...
It's,
The thought of you far away
Tinkering with some sort of hoodoo
And trancing a devilish suitor
On behalf of my sanity
It's ,
The thought of all of us
The thought of you mostly
The idea of looking you up
To remember your name
