POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
family man
my head and heart are stuck
deep within the dying man
with his will like destruction
stamping my life out
as he grips hard onto his death
he punches and scratches at me
keeping me tight with chains of blood
as if we were never separate
only as one falling for all time
deep within the dying man
with his will like destruction
stamping my life out
as he grips hard onto his death
he punches and scratches at me
keeping me tight with chains of blood
as if we were never separate
only as one falling for all time

feel
like wild horses
wet and dried on the moors
when they fall aside to death
what do the others do?
does love rear up and cry with sorrow?
or perhaps an indifference rides tough
like the makers of bombs
when their victims fall in foreign silent places
silent
wet and dried on the moors
when they fall aside to death
what do the others do?
does love rear up and cry with sorrow?
or perhaps an indifference rides tough
like the makers of bombs
when their victims fall in foreign silent places
silent

spring harvest
sleeps beneath a silver soil,
I await the relief
mid January;
starlings & other birds ; we
HEARD THEM LAST NIGHT, won't
be long now before they're
selling daffies at traffic
lights again
every city is scattered with so
many poems keep the faith
a robot fired the bullet in anger
and then the birds were free
on hells straight and narrow
highway with engines screaming
to cell-net heartbreak-
how many times?
ringing like starlings; the
air is full of our...

head through the waves, silent still glass-like mirrored waves
never go back to find the connection
the past has moved in parallel with you
somehow a comforting place,
mirrored in deep highland lochs
peaty dark swirling
welcoming you in this place for reflection,
go deep go forwards into a black deep blue
through the waters which demand your grace
before opening this sacred space,
here you are in parallel past perhaps
a glimpse of lost loves of if's of but's
all true will find you looking through the waters
through the loving pasts glass
the past has moved in parallel with you

climbing ivy
creeping trees
walking walls
bouncing balls
empty halls
as the people rush into the streets
chocolate eclairs
snow balls
wine gums
fizzer sticks
candles ignite to light
as the children hide under the stairs
summer breezes
winter sneezes
snowdrops grow
soil expands
reaching out touching hands
as the animal kingdom lifts its ears to listen
moon shine
sun shine
star light
planets spinning
clouds dance
as the universe smiles, knowing and laughing

walking walls

agony
staring out through my eyes
like a dark forgotten crow
i see my pain rise
touching the clouds as they sore like ancestors, high
no judgement just pure love which only they can hold
for this dream

touching the clouds as they sore like ancestors, high
no judgement just pure love which only they can hold

pigs might fly
you may be honest
twins will smile
brothers will know each other
lemons will be oranges
fear will become love
silence will harbour no shame
strangers might say hello
depth is open to all
all

you and me
out there beyond
comes within
then evolves beyond
then through

just when all things blow up
beyond
in

five dried grams on an empty stomach
It will take you by the hand
forgive you
leave you
walk with you as you are loved
forgive you
leave you
walk with you as you are loved

elves exist
I walk wearing Black and White shoes
thinking about things beyond my self
I notice trees and rivers bending
shaping their way into nature
nature. what is this?
following a path through a forest I meet an elf
horned, cross-armed and laughing
I pull a dead sheeps carcuss over me
then stare into the dark, till light flickers
nature
thinking about things beyond my self
I notice trees and rivers bending
shaping their way into nature
nature. what is this?

soil
as we plough through the soil
circles appear
as if to suggest fertility
new life
perhaps old lives needing to re-emerge
saying...
why are you hurting others by hurting yourself?
where have you hidden the sun amongst your chosen illusion?
when will you rest to allow me life by joining you?
to hold all that you are?
allowing you the love you feel hidden or denied you, by you?
this soil holds nothing other than all
which is reflected by you and for you
brief rain falls some times
as a once asked question rests again
