When I look at you,
I see all my hopes and dreams;
When I stand beside you,
I realize that I belong with you.

You're long, street black hair,
Matches mine so perfectly;
You're royal blue eyes,
Stare only into the green of mine;

You tower over me,
And make me feel protected;
And no matter what I do or feel,
You're always there,
Right next to me.

Filled with darkness,
my life runs like a stream.
Running in blood,
That's all I see.

Red and Black
block my vision,
as I try to escape
my world of darkness.

My life is filled
with pain and doubt,
some things old,
and some things new.

Pain filled days,
and fearful nights,
I'm always trapped,
in this world of darkness.

I try to escape,
but never succeed.
It's all I can do,
But stay in this world.
