POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Love
In death, his beauty truly peaks
His grayish blue pallor like a sky pregnant with rain
And I find him among the soft earth and trees sleeping peacefully
We hold hands, the silence consumes us in this lonesomeness.
Soon they’ll put him in the ground
Among angels, lambs and urns like trees
And I’ll find him again by moonlight
I’ll claw through the earth, scraping and scratching
And we’ll hold hands till the insects find us.

Empty
When I'm done with you,
You'll be a locust husk
Like the rest of them.
And you'll wonder why you feel so empty.
For me, the hole will open up again,
A terrible wound that will never heal.
I can't keep picking at it.
I bleed it out
Fill it with colorful drugs and drinks,
But it will not go away.
I want to lie down there with the rest of them,
To feed this earth that has tried its best
To keep me grounded,
To get away from these dreamy clouds forever.
My head in the clouds...
I cannot get away from...
You'll be a locust husk
Like the rest of them.
And you'll wonder why you feel so empty.
For me, the hole will open up again,

Stalker
I just have to see you and I can burrow into your skull
Deep within the pink folds of your secret brain.
No one else can go there but me.
You don't know it, but it's one of my favorite places to be.
I was sexless...androgynous almost...
I felt no desire
No longing
Then I began tracking them.
Yes...others, just like you.
I was so bored with this world of just flesh and bone,
The ground and air above like a great blue-grey tomb.
But inside your head, I can become full of everything again.
Passion soars like...
Deep within the pink folds of your secret brain.
No one else can go there but me.
You don't know it, but it's one of my favorite places to be.
I was sexless...androgynous almost...
I felt no desire
No longing

For Nick Drake
It makes me cry
but I am not sure why...
My face is without expression
There’s no question
What a sad lonely life it was,
Sitting in the high grass
Watching the seasons pass,
The river rages
And so it goes in stages:
The trees shed their skins,
And a new life begins
And I wonder what really became of him
His life so grey and grim.
His deep sense of sorrow
Like the darkest days of tomorrow.
but I am not sure why...
My face is without expression
There’s no question
What a sad lonely life it was,
Sitting in the high grass
Watching the seasons pass,
The river rages
And so it goes in stages:
The trees shed their skins,
And a new life begins
And I wonder what really became of him
His life so grey and grim.
His deep sense of sorrow
Like the darkest days of tomorrow.

Need
I trace your cobalt veins
Your skin so cold
Like the harshest winter rains.
But still I hold you though you're long gone dead
I could care less
I just want to be fed
By your caress.
Your skin so cold
Like the harshest winter rains.
But still I hold you though you're long gone dead
I could care less
I just want to be fed
By your caress.
