Goodbye
With dignity honor and grace
Let us gather in this hallowed place
To cherish a life and remember a love
To give their soul to the lord above
On this hill, with a glorious view
Rest is provided for those we knew
May the gates of Heaven open wide
Angels with trumpets on either side
It is time for me to say goodbye
And in my heart you shall abide

Soul Fight
I will not fall down
I will not fall back
I will stand my ground
For the next attack
The devil is armed
With misery and grief
I look to the LORD
For my relief
As the devil pounds
At the door of my soul

Raindrops down the window pane
Sound of thunder fills the air
A storm of confusion in my head
My heart is in despair
Wind is howling the rain is heavy
On and on it rages
My soul to you was an open book

Mystery Woman
My body reacts as you come into view
My brain scrambles at the thought of you
I love your hair and the way that you walk
My tongue gets so tied I can’t even talk
We share no words or a single greeting
You pass me by, the moments are fleeting
You don’t know my name or even how I look
But I learned more from you then any book
For I went to that spot for several days in a row
The days turned to months and you never did show
I learned to act upon my hearts desires
To seize every moment before it...

Missionaries Prayer
O Lord how I love thee
For I cannot count the ways
Please keep me in your counsel
All the rest of my days
Many miles do I travel
Many people do I speak
For those who do not know you
Help me to bless the ones that seek
Your word is like a river
With a never ending flow
Your love is my comfort
With a never ending glow
When my work makes me weary
Help me to believe
When I walk the straight and narrow
Your blessings I receive
Although I miss my family
And the city...

Dark Road
Down the dark road, my addiction lives
I can’t seem to forget the address
It sits right there, in the back of my mind
Reminding me, of stolen time
Like the sands of an hourglass becoming grains of salt
The bitterness creates a mountain
Try as i may, i work with might
I wake up sweating on a sleepless night
My resolve is hardened, my fist a rock
