Shiver
it’s cold, it’s so cold
but you are warm
your cheeks pink
your fingers cold
as they slip under my shirt
to press thumb prints to my hips
i could drown in the sweetness
soft taste of your lips
you exhale
and i shiver
but not from the cold

Buzzing. Sneakers on linoleum, lockers slamming, gossip. Class to class, who is with who, grades, fistfights, parties, lunch. The epitome of teenage existence. Disgusting. Stop. Pause. Take a closer look over there. The air seemed to shift. Watch those walls. You might catch her move.
She tightened her grip on the books she held against her chest. Her heels pressed against the wall, and her eyes darting from student to student passing through the hallways. She counts how many are wearing blue shirts today. Much more fun than her previous game of counting how many people...

Drowning
Loving you is like drowning
And you're the air above the sea
I can't reach you, can't get to you
All because I was never taught how to swim
All my lungs want is a breath of you
But I'm only getting short gasps
Because that's all you let me have
And those gasps only last so long
Before I need more air
I need more of you
But the ocean is pulling me in
And you're not trying to pull me back
One day I'll give up on you
Let the salt water fill my lungs
But I don't want to do that because
Then my eyes will lose their light
And my skin...

why cant i just be normal person
that makes things work normally
but whenever i try things worsen
and things always end informally
someone who drives me insane
with such acceptance i always fit
but i also want to wake up to black coffee
and someone who doesnt take my bullshit
oh god i know that youre both
this isnt love
its just lust
im just trying
to re-adjust
maybe is was a slip of the tongue
theres no way its their name you heard
you best stop typing "i love you" after every message
you could...
