Hi my name is Da Thrill and I've been writing since I was in 6th grade. My style varies depending on what mood I'm in or the inspiration I'm writing about. Aside from poetry I also enjoy writing song lyrics.

Captivity
My mind is a tornado, many thoughts encirle in my brain
I cant keep up with them and this world seems mundane
The room is spinning and I can barely breathe
And the voices in my head constantly try to deceive
I keep pressing on, thinking tomorrow will be a better day
Or it will be the end of this pain, because God will take me away
I close my eyes and clinch my fist
Glide this blade across my wrist
The vein don't bleed, it only clots
I'm a prisoner of these broken thoughts
My eyes are dry even though I weep
I wanna lay down and...
I cant keep up with them and this world seems mundane

Blissful Insanity
She drives me insane the way she's hot like a sauna
Her touch melts my skin like I'm swimming in lava
Engulfing my brain everything else is obsolete
Holding my mind hostage and there is no retreat
I could stare at her for hours, an image of perfection
Her venomous bite is a deadly injection
It slowly fills my brain and spreads like a cancer
If my heart is the question then her love is the answer
Every second it's like she's running through my brain
She's my air, my thoughts, my every fucking thing
She takes control of me and I get a little bit...

Hunger
It doesn't start in my stomach, it starts in my mind
Then spreads to my eyes, to everything else I am blind
I crave her every second and the longer I have to wait
The more brittle my bones become until they finally break
Nothing else in this world compares to be as gratifying
Being without her makes this world simply terrifying
My hunger explodes, I'm on the hunt for my love
Checking every inch of land and every crevice above
I stalk her like lion, ready to pounce upon site
And to hold her down, giving her neck a little bite
When will she quit running...
Then spreads to my eyes, to everything else I am blind
I crave her every second and the longer I have to wait

Dreams??
Standing alone in a pitch black room
I turn on the lights to see what death has consumed
Hundreds of bodies littered all over the floor
A gun in my hand that wasn't there before
My hands are all shakey and it's hard to breathe
I wanna head for the door but something won't let me leave
Staring at the carnage, what the fuck am i gonna do
All my mind keeps seeing is the red and the blue
I see something moving out the corner of my eye
A man coming at me, I guess he didn't die
His eyes glaring at me with revenge on his mind
I'm out of bullets...

Perfect Drug
Your my rush and my addiction
Striking my heart with such precision
The perfect drug, its all I need
You are in my veins, its you I bleed
My mind, my soul, my inspiration
Without you my heart beats with desperation
When your not here I start to collapse
I cannot breathe and cannot relax
Life is meaningless, I start to shake
My heart don't beat, it starts to break
Life is meaningless why even try
Without you all I wanna do is die
Right before my eyes go black
You resuscitate my heart attack
I open my eyes and see you there...

Throw Yo Crosses Up
I had the pedal to the metal heading in the wrong direction
Sin was in my blood and spreading like infection
I was tangled in a web and I couldn't break free
Waiting for the spider to stick it's fangs in me
I lost everything I had living my plan
Now I'm lost and broken hearted just a shell of a man
Ya see my heart was shattered all over the floor
And the scattered pieces stomped on some more
Scraping for money and barely getting by
Couldn't deal with the pressure so I started getting high
Who am I to describe such pain?
He was beaten, bruised and...
