Poet Introduction
hey there, i am an amateur writer. im going to be honest, this is just some stuff from my iphone notes. writing is a good form of expression for me. i guess if you read it you're reading my diary, so it makes me comfortable to be anon.
it leads down
sex and semen it all feels sinful
something is missing
something is missing
something is gone.
something is missing
something is missing
something is gone.

the aftermath
broad grey board
slow blink
quick sand
dull pulsating glow
almost out,
wood chips,
dry dust detritius,
static, settled, still,
stench.
me.

Legs and betrayal.
when closed I am shaped like an ‘I’
I am lost when open,
in the shape of a ‘y’,
why have i?

unruly
frayed mesh of hair,
unplugged at the roots,
blankets the floor- soft, unruly.
he lathers my skin with his spit,
breathes cold stinging smoke in my ear,
and fear, silent, presses into my stomach.
each pore a door,
faithfully opens and
swallows the fumes, perfume, while,
stucco hardens my face, I become,
desirable memorial,
burial stone, cold flesh.
later I scrape and it flakes off in swathes,
takes flight, like I do,
into space.

seventeen
seventeen is turning out to be a bad year
we hopped in his car
he drove and drove and drove
just a small blue dot on the map,
gravel spit, and teeth chattered.
the room was so blue the walls pulsed
we just got undressed.
it feels stupid to dress this in similie, metaphor.
i wanted to run away but there wasnt really anywhere to go
all i could see was green and trees and fields for miles
his shirt had tiny holes, and
he smelt like sweat and skin and old man,
my face pressed into him and he pressed into me, heavy.

i keep things locked and hidden:
A rose melts in a black marble box,
teeth chatter in their cave,
hair sheds like autumn leaves,
that crackle as i step.
skull gulps down the young wine,
the bird's branch breaks.
it falls, heavy feathers,
thud, a heartbeat on the pavement.

grow
The valley in my brow is as terrifyingly
deep as the one
we sat in the night when you told me:
you'd be happier if you could shoot me,
watch the dirt swallow my body,
maybe some flowers would grow?
what a mortal, forgettable headstone.
Just as you wished for,
I pick you flowers most mornings, straight from
the soil of my heart,
they feed from the air in my lungs.
I am breathless
by the time I reach the brick gate, clutching the bouquet in my hands.
I love you.

With the moon and the stars swirling around us,
devilish sceptres curl around our throats drag us to the edge of the cosmos, far from the moon -
lost.
from open wounds we slowly bleed out,
yet we dance
yes! we dance,
and fall and shimmy and shake and sway our hips seductively -
tantalising, ta-tantalising cheer girls (hardly leaders) we scream and bat long thick lashes,
a bathtub of cum and vomit tears
does not leave us cleansed but
holy water
drips
from between our legs
and so they fall and scramble, reaching,
praying, ...

he & i
a knife lurks in the folds of these sheets,
and the blade
he pushes down my throat
while he moans in pleasure.
he butchers my neck from the inside.
ceaselessly he stabs. and he stabs. and he stabs.
i watch as my tongue slides out from my mouth,
sliced clean.
i am mute.
sworn to silence.
i cower.
naked, but cloaked in shame,
i swear.
i’ll never speak of it again.

written as if i were her
in my dark eyes
i want you to see beauty.
know that i can devour you
know that i can kill you. if i want to.
does that turn you on?
do you want me?
seductive, entrancing, i want to be,
always just -
out of reach,
you think you are close enough to grab, to touch,
but i wink and laugh,
and turn and run,
your fingers clasp at air,
i beckon and you follow,
eternally untrappable, uncatchable, untameable,
i am.
unstoppable, undefinable,
almost floating, ethereal,
i stand.
i want you to see beauty.
know that i can devour you
know that i can kill you. if i want to.
