Have You Ever?
Have you ever felt lonely
Broken down, abused
Abandoned, unloved, despised,
And utterly confused?
Have you ever thought about
Ways to make it stop
Go away, disappear,
Somehow untie the knot?
Have you ever seen the end
So clearly in your mind
Calling, slipping, falling
Running out of time?
Have you ever heard a silence
That could rip a life apart
Bleeding, pleading, hurting
Until you have no heart?
Have you ever given up
Tried running for the door
Crying, aching, dying
Because love you have no more? ...

Drunken Haze
Smoke in mirrors
Reign supreme
You say you love me
But only in dreams
Go ahead
Make me laugh
Hit me again
It will be your last
I can't contain
The rage inside
It has stripped me naked
Exposed from all sides
No speaking is required
To crush a soul
Hah - jokes on you
I already let go
Go right ahead
Keep everyone fooled
Except for me
I know the real you
Keep up that charade
Be the good little son
Enjoy it now
This battle, I won
I can bend with burdens
But only so long ...
Reign supreme
You say you love me
But only in dreams
Go ahead

It will be your last

Constellations Never Change
I wish I was there catch your tears
I would hold your hand
Calm your fears
Do my best to understand
Miles may separate
But my thoughts are always near
Place your hand near your heart
Each beat echoes my love sincere
If I were there
I would hold you tight
Look you in the eye
And tell you it's alright
If you ever think of me
Just go outside at night
If all you see is dark or clouds
Don't worry, stars are there, just not in sight
Never give up looking
I promise they are still up high ...
I would hold your hand
Calm your fears
Do my best to understand

Wild Horses
In the distance of the morning light
High on a ridge top, back against the rising sun
Appears the silhouette of a lone stallion
Contemplating freedom, preparing to run
Majestic in appearance
A gentle galloping forms
Graceful strength against the dawn
Magnificent beauty as courage is born
Power appears as a thundering herd
Beauty echoes throughout the valley floor
As unrivaled grace and boldness
Anticipate cruel, but caring souls, once more
A mare is fiercely loyal
Sparing no cost to protect her...

I'm
I’m a lover of words
with a poet in my soul
always searching for the next write
writer of dreams any number can hold
one, two, three, or even four mixed together
it’s sometimes me that begins to feel bold
all of it is concrete in my mind
I'm also now a user of words I am told
I will give them a name
It may not fit right in the mold
when my thoughts come to pass
what is it that will show

Empty Cup
Your love is a road
That has no end
Time after time
It takes me back again
To a lonely place
I struggle to understand
How you kept my heart
But let go of my hand
Is there more waiting
Please hear me calling
Will you be there to catch me

Who will help pick up the pieces

Just Sometimes
I'm sitting here all alone
with no one to talk to
and no one to phone
I need to tell someone
how lonely I feel but
I just can't seem to make it
I don't feel real
Sometimes I just want to die
so the pain will end
Sometimes I just want to live so bad
I can't find how to begin
My dreams are shattered
All my hopes are gone
No matter what I do
Sometimes it just all goes wrong
with no one to talk to

Life Is Not Endless
I am tired of being invisible
Feeling like a stranger in my home
I never talk, you never listen
Living together, but still alone
I believe I am staring at the end
Of something that once was good
All those times I tried to tell
But you never understood
There are people in my life with you
I never want to lose
I can only hope they still will love me
And not make me have to choose
I need to somehow let go
And find myself again
I lost who I was, you never knew,
I don't know how long it's been
...

I feel as if I am floating
Just above the ground
In the land of you and me
footsteps never sound
You reach for me
I take your hand
Above the clouds
We begin to dance
Shimering colors
A rainbow slide
You pull me close
Hug me tight
Shiny and bright
The sun feels right
Breezy kisses
Until it's night
Starry eyes
Looking at love
The moon eclipse

As we conquer the world

Little Girl
God has given me a miracle
I see it every day
It is something that I truly love
And can never be replaced
My heart feels with warmth and love
Each time that I am near
It is something I would give my life for
Because my love for it conquers fear
I hold it in my arms
And I can feel the love inside
I am thankful for all the joy and laughter
The heartaches and trying times
I’ll treasure it for all my life
No words could ever express
I cherish and give thanks for it
And know that I am blessed
I will spend my life...

Dreaming of new ones to come

A spiritual part of you grows

And leaving room for commitment
