i have been writing for 4 years and have had a lot of success in writing. im currently working on getting some of my poems published.

Forever Alone
Sitting alone in a room,
Staring at the wall.
I am ready to fall.
What can i do?
Thinking about a haunted past,
Surely these thoughts won't last.
With nothing to my name,
And debts to pay.
Why is it worth living anyway?
With a home that's not a home,
And no friends I am left alone.
With a future that seems empty and lost,
It's just too much of a cost.
To continue onward to a place unknown,
Perhaps i will be a king,
Sitting upon a throne.
Or an outcast left to die alone.
No more thoughts...

Fall
Ahh fall, the season of change,
And a time for peace.
Like the soft breeze tussling the turning leaves.
The red sky at sunset and dawn,
The white spots on a young fawn.
A time for long sleeves,
and crunching leaves.
The chill before winters bite,
The morning sunrise,
what a sight.
Time for love and family.
fading light and early night,
Time for harmony, not fight.
And a time for peace.

Our Flag
Look at her our stars and stripes,
Flapping in the wind.
Her meaning more than life,
and men.
We fight for her,
we die for her.
In the name of keeping her free,
so when we look up she is all we should see.
Her red, white, and blue,
Flying high and true.
Uniting a nation and it's people,
To fight for what's right,
To fight evil.
Forever we stand beside her,
Watching and Protecting.

Overcome
Life goes on and this is true,
that no matter what pain your going through.
you will live through this day,
and start tomorrow anew.
The pain and torture that life brings us,
must never break us down, or defeat us.
Because the sun sets, the moon rises,
the bad falls and the good suprize us.
So shake these bad days, for more to come,
though this time the good is now, and the bad is none.

Wanting A Chance
Wishing, hoping, praying, that someone somewhere will let me in,
not just in their lives but in their heart.
without love where do we exist?
i need love so i must persist.
give me a chance to show u all i can be.
Be a man of love and faith,
for i shall never cheat.
nor shall i ever strike that which is mine.
I take care of what i love,
And what i love is what im missing.
Wont you be the missing piece to my puzzle?
not just in their lives but in their heart.
without love where do we exist?
i need love so i must persist.
give me a chance to show u all i can be.

Thinking of You
The rising moon meets the setting sun,
Yet another day is done.
The star filled sky, the moonlit night,
I gaze blankly into space.
Thinking of you, my mind aches,
Missing you is more than my heart can take.
Words cannot describe these feelings,
But I will try.
Only Heaven could...

The War Continues
Sand sand all around,
This desert heat beating down.
Coming up I see a village in the distance,
Silent and dead, something doesn't feel right.
I feel my breath slow, my heart race,
My enemy is near, hiding someplace.
I feel his gaze fixed on me,
My rifle trained, my hand steady.
I fire, time slows as the shot rings out,
The battle starts, nowthere are dozens.
All of them striving for one goal,
But we are skilled watching them fall one by one.
More arrive, we fall back,
Repositioned my brothers call upon me to...

Never Forget
Despair never announces itself ahead of time,
It never calls to let you know its on its way.
But when it comes there is no mistaking it,
Darkness comes swiftly and consumes everything.
But you know that after every night, the morning comes.
Eventually the darkness is lifted and light fills the world.
Death is something no one wants to accept,
But no one can change.
So mourn upon the death of those lost,
But know that although they are lost from this world.
They have found their way into the light.
That our memories keep them alive, and their life...
It never calls to let you know its on its way.

Honor, Respect, Excellence
These are the words I live by,
They mean everything to my brothers and I.
With honor in our hearts and courage in our blood,
We've done it all, from jumping into the sky, to crawling in the mud.
Banded together we fight for a cause,
No matter what it is we shall not pause.
Our uniforms on, standing at attention,
Ready to fly at a moments mention.
With the battle in front and the sky at our back,
Noone is safe from our attack.
We'll fly that blue sky true,
Till the battle is won and our troops...
They mean everything to my brothers and I.

Stricken her legs to walk no more,
yet happy as ever with no remorse.
Time comes still when im without her,
But with her my day becomes a blur.
Beautiful as flowers in spring,
I bet she is why all the birds sing.
Sweet as honey from a million bees,
It took me this long but now I see.
That such beauty could only come from HE,
That God sent an angel just for me.

Remember What We Stand For
Do you remember that day when the planes came?
When screams was all we could hear.
As the flames rose, so did our fears
As the towers fell so did our tears.
Our anger soars like the eagles flying high,
Our soldiers ready to scream their battle cry.
The orders ready, our troops at attention,
Ready to strike at the moment their mentioned.
They came to attack us all,
But we struck back and watched them fall.
This is America where we are free and true,
Will we stand for what they put us through?...

Time
As the seconds pass upon this day,
know that lives and affected in a way.
Lives are born and lost today.
Time steals the life of those dying,
Time mends the wounds of those crying.
When time slows chaos comes still,
When time flys disasters become real.
Today is now, when it's gone it's gone,

Death takes us all in time,
