We are at war
24/7 like CNN, BBC, and Fox
You voted for the masters of war
And we now live in this metal bin
Like flowers are thrown away
On unmarked soldiers graves
To cover up the sins of the rich
Showing your life is just a bitch
Blair and Bush started it off
Trump and Johnson will end it
So thanks to those out there
Who let the lunatics sit in the tower of power
Bringing the hand closer to midnight
Thanks a fucking lot

The Devil's Speech
When the night gets cold
Laying in the doorway
And you have had nothing to eat
Crying and wondering how you got there
You wish you could leave
In a moments flash
It all comes back
Ask yourself, 'Why has God deserted me?”
It's hard to say it
But Gods, not the one who put you there
But it's probably me
When the bombs take out your loved ones and home
Then the hunger, the disease takes over
You found yourself in a camp
Sharing a tent, packed in like sheep
You lost everything
Then you ask
“Why as God...

My Mental Illness
My mental illness is..
My mental illness is not me,
… It is just part of me.
I am human, I feel, I bleed,
And yet you judge me without ever knowing me.
I am a poet and unique, only of a kind of me,
You won't find anyone else exactly like me.
We are all human and have our faults,
But not you. it seems.
You go pointing the finger, calling me sick,
Unstable too, but you don’t even know me , old lady.
What you do to or say about me,
Cuts me deeper than the knife I hold.

My mental illness is not me,

It is the one across the hall
Manuscripts and unfinished poems,
Dust and pain,
Left upon a shelf,
Too high to reach.
Bloodstained sheets nobody sees.
Yesterday and today is lost again.
Shelves of emails,
From bullies and critics.
A trunk was full of dark thoughts.
Holes full of dreams,
That is no longer nice.
Rats and mice running around in my head.
Dagger and razor,
Therefor pain.
Musical chairs,
Played by the insane.
Tarot cards and forgotten old photographs.
Keys without locks,
And those knowing...
Dust and pain,
