Join in the masquerade,
Walk along in the black parade,

Look at all their different masks,
Think of all their painful tasks,

Look at all their blackened clothes,
They are hiding all their woes,

Listen to some's hurt filled groans,
Listen to the dying's painful moans,

Watch all the cruel ghosts,
Feast on an unsuspecting host,

When all their hope seems lost,
Life will come to add a cost,

Sometimes life isn't right,
Everyone deserves a fair fight.

The knives blades oh so sharp,
Hear the angels beckoning harp,
Feel the searing pain,
This will end to no ones gain,
Speak your final phrase,
Walk into the gloomy haze,
Look into heavens bright white light,
You're finally done your long hard fight,
Those around you shriek in fear,
You feel the sting of a single tear,
For your end came so slow,
For now it is your time to go.

Listen to their hateful sneers,
Try to hide your pain filled tears,
Hide your pain behind a mask,
It proves to be a painful task,
Try not to let your anger show,
Deep inside you always know,
You are better then they are,
On the inside a true star,
Cruelty so very unjust,
Fighting back seems to be a must,
For if you just let it be,
Nobody will ever see,
What it truly takes...
