I used to cry over him
because of the things he once said to me
but now all I do is thank him
for making a place for you to be.
I know I said I wouldn't fall again

Another Broken Heart
I used to hug my pillow at night
and I even used to ask my self why?
Why when I knew it was wrong did it feel so right?
Why did it hurt so much when you would say goodbye?
Then there were the times you didn't come home
and when I asked you where you were
you would constantly tell me lies.
Talking about you were out with yo boys
when in reality, you were laying next to her.
I know this much because I heard her voice
even when you tried to cover it up with a whole bunch of noise.
You promised me...

Finally Letting You Go
How can you honestly say you love me but you treat me like a stranger ?
How can you honestly say that you will hold on to me forever but you're constantly letting me go
you always tell me that you will protect my heart but you're the main one who's putting it in danger
then you're always asking me for another chance and you know I just don't know how to say no.

Your Physical Abuse
From the black eyes
To the bruises on my soul
To the promises you forever told
Saying"baby I love you & I'll never hurt you"
But the truth of the matter is that everything you said wasn't true.
You've said it time & time again
But time & time again all I see is the back of your hand
Going across my face
Or even a fist going against my waist
Because you don't wanna leave a trace.
You see me cry & cry over you
And sometimes I even ask you why do you do the things you do....
