My alchemist
Thank you Lord for these words.
An alchemist of hearts she turned my soul into gold,
When I felt i could fold my heart and put ut away,
She was there for me,
She kept me going,
She was like fuel,
And I was like flame,
Even though at times it would get heated,
It would change nothing for her,
She was there for me,
When my eyes were cloudy and it begun to rain,
When I wanted to hide,
Keep my existensce a myth,
She guarded the flame ,

IF ONLY YOU KNEW
Thank you Lord for these words
Did you ever realise that one day you could be gone,
You’d close your eyes
Never to open them again.
That the world for you would stop,
But would continue for the rest,
Did you ever realise that one day,
Your time will be up,
The period for use of the software you call your spirit,
The hardware you call your body would run put,
This time there would be no renew button,
No extended version,
No premium subscription.

CAMOUFLAGE
To me a successful person is one who is doing what he is doing ,
Because he wants to,
Not because he has to,
They say success leaves a trail to be followed,
So when I was teen I begun to follow,
However I seem to have lost the trail,
Because all I see is a jungle of deceit,
Camouflaged as “good times” and fast cheap “love”
A watering hole full of alcohol and drugs,
Camouflaged as an escape to life’s problems,
Many have fallen into the watering hole,
And others even drowned,...
Because he wants to,
Not because he has to,

MR.CLOWN
The story of a certain sad Mr.clown
I see you roaming downtown
all you have on is a frown
seems all your feelings drowned
what happened though
did your lover leave
or did love leave you
did your heart bleed
or was it just a bad deed
I remember how you said that your head is filled with screams
Shattered dreams
your river of tears now dried up
coze like a tube of old toothpaste you've been all used up
that's why you roaming these streets constantly groaning

TIME
Have an attitude of gratitude,
Be thankful for the time you spend,
For time you cannot lend nor send,
For once it’s gone it will never look back at you,
Time is what we all have in common,
So tell me why isn’t success common,
Why are there rich people?
Poor people
And the comfortable middle class,
Why do some go too soon?
And others stay too long,
Why does time fly?
And at the same time promise to heal all wounds,
Why is it that the more time we kill?
The more time kills us.
Yesterday...

THE PRINCESS AND THE PRINCE
You know that I am your prince
But I have not seen you since,
That day we spent outdoors
Now all I see is walls,
Well I build walls
And demolish bridges
I call it my high castle
Where I don't lift a muscle
And don’t feel the need to struggle
In this world of hustle and bustle
Where you can only survive by tussling
And they say “am fussing"

That castle is what we built,
The glass full of my love,
Well you spilled it,
And the bridges were what we used to connect with,

I'm sorry,
I cant be the one I hoped i'd be,
Because according to the internet,
I still love her,
I still long for her,
I still need her,
Therefore I still look for her,
That's why i see her face everywhere,
My heart accepts but my brain rejects,
I want to be finished,
I want to be done,
So why do you still,
Torment my thoughts,
Cloud my judgement,
Make my eyes rain,
Just leave me be,

Take a look at what is happening today,
The rich are getting richer,
The poor are getting poorer,
The youth are being misled,
Therefore I have made a decision,
Instead of using my talent to write about infatuation,
I will use it to touch others,
To speak about true love for one another,
For that is my purpose,
What is yours?
Now is now,
Cherish each moment as if it were your last,
For one day it’ll be your last
In a grave you will be cast,
You will return to dust,
Live like you die today,
Plan like you live forever,

Words can be anything,
And anyone can say words,
All words have meaning,
The impact varies from person to person,
But the meaning remains,
Never underestimate the power of words.
My teacher said you can’t do it,
You’ll fail through it
My friends laughed when I told them,
They said I’ll just end up in a den,
And my parents, they said nothing,
From that point on I looked at life in a new perspective,
Taught to see the glass half empty,
Taught to see the bad in the best people,
Taught that the world was unfair,
There was no way to...
