Tolan Odyssey (part 1)
Brush crunches under my feet as I run through the dense forest, branches reaching out to attack my exposed skin. I glance to my left finding Cocoa is keeping pace, zig-zagging in an out of sight. An arrow whizzes past my ear, another catches my side, I wince in pain and begin to falter.
“Know your body, push its limits. That’s the only way you’ll survive here” My aunt’s voice rings in my ears as loud as the pain. I push harder than I have before, knowing I’ll regret it later. But I can’t live in the later when in battle, I must live in the now, another lesson my dear, sweet aunt...
