Good Morning #2
Good morning my dearest love.
May the days burdens roll off your shoulders.
May our love tug at the corners of your cheeks and the strings of your heart.
Fret not, for the stress of the day is only temporary.
I smile knowing I have the honour of relieving your tensions.
The honor of making you feel beautiful and loved.
You've changed my heart from stone to honey.
The weight is light unlike the stone I'd dragged behind me.
It may be softer now and more vulnerable.
But for once in my life, that doesn't scare me.

The Carapace
I'm in a lot of pain,
But I am alive.
It's been a long climb,
But, I'm starting to love the high.
Eyes blind from sweat off my brow,
Mind weary from a heart plagued by sorrow.
My temple is frail from the sleepless nights and numb stomach.
Exhausted, I reach the carapace to wash the sweat from my eyes and body in a pool understanding.
Again I can see.
The beauty of what I witness sears my retinas.

There's a storm in my mind but I lack the words.
All bound up inside its not like writing a verse.
Cause dyslexia slurs and what you say to me hurts.
My brain feels sick and I cant find the cure.
Staring off into space and my mind goes blank.
Sorry, I didn't hear you, what did you say?
Bouncing on my toes and I don't have a clue.
No I'm no stupid, I just don't see things the same as you.
Why should I want to? You just seem so unhappy.
