The Puppet

I’m just a puppet on a string
But my wires are wearing thin
Wish I possessed fresh eyes
So I couldn’t see all the wrong I did
Cause I love to be manipulated
But I hate to sin
But I guess a wrong is always right
When you’re living in it

I grind my teeth when I’m sleeping
Cause my dreams are spent alone
Then why is it that I can’t spend my dreams with YOU
When you’re all I dream about when I’m awake
