HIGH AND DRY
The thunder was
rattling the
windows in
our house;
the lightening
was putting on
a fireworks show;
the storm was flooding
the streets;
the weatherman
warned us to stay
in our homes...
we were starting
to create our own storm
when he left
me high and dry...
I walked outside and
was soaked...
