In the afternoon of dawn

They say that it's in the afternoon dawn as the sun goes down, that we have peace and harmony, as we exchange our thoughts and prayers with nature as our back drop with peace. For even as I sit here looking out at world around me, I wonder how much the world has been changed, by its own demise with nothing but corruption and deception. What is your spiritual existence to sustain life, for sure it's a reason to want to survive no matter, what it will take for you to survive. From what I can remember when we all gathered together, at Big Mama's house where the elders of the women's, would prepare a Home Town cook out for gathering, for the family. IT was a time that I will never forget. As it was a gathering of the elders and uncles and aunts and sisters and brothers, with their off springs children running around playing children games. While the olders people would play cards or shuffle board games, as the elders would look out and see the families all together in one place.
